***Security Deposit for UAE visas
Travel agencies now require Visitors to the UAE to pay a security deposit as part of their visa application process. This deposit is based on the nationality of the visitor;
- Pakistani: from 250 to 690 AED
- Asian: from 490 to 680 AED
- African: from 1000 to 2500 AED.
The security deposit is said to be refundable, provided that the visitor has not violated any immigration laws or regulations during their stay.

UAE AIRPORT TO AIRPORT (A2A) VISA EXTENSION SUSPENDED

The UAE had earlier suspended change status for visitors within the country. Nearly all visitors had to exit the country then come back with a newly approved visa. Airport to airport (A2A) visa change could only be done in Dubai and Sharjah Airport.

Following this decisions, those who wish to do a visa change will have no option than to exit the United Arab Emirates (UAE), before a new visa is applied.
