In early 2010, we decided to "Konnekt" the world to the United Arab Emirates. We found that their was a lack of online information for tourists planning activities and/or to travel the
region (eg. We could not find the location, phone number or a website of a paintballing centre in the city). After a majorly unforgettable brainstorming session, we came up with a great web-directory named uaeshelf.com; the most informative, user friendly and detailed online guide in the country. Here you can upload your company logo, contact information, social media links, photo gallery, location map, press releases and advertising banner... All of which, you have full administrative control over. After the success of uaeshelf.com and 1,000s of international web visits, our team at Konnekt planned to establish a direct relationship with UAE tourists and Abu Dhabi. With the support of the local Tourism Authorities and Government entities, we are now able to fulfil our goal to support the city’s tourism industry with Where to?
