The Marieta Islands are a group of small uninhabited islands a few miles off the coast of Mexico. One of the popular tourist destination in the Islands is the "hidden beach". It’s entirely hidden, and can only be reached by swimming through a short, narrow tunnel. While the beach itself is natural, the sinkhole is reportedly man-made. The Mexican government started using the islands as target practice prior to the First World War. These controlled bombings have formed numerous sinkholes. So, probably a natural cave roof is collapsed due to bombings.

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ، مَوْلَى التَّيْمِيِّينَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ، وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ "

Omg.. Heart-watering isn't it? I can't help but keep repeating in every post of mine, the beauty & variation with which Allahﷻ has created this Earth... Can't wait to explore more of this beautiful creation...
