Republic Square is the central city square of Yerevan and it is one of the main architectural complexes of the capital. ✅

📎 It consists of two sections: an oval roundabout and a trapezoid-shaped section which contains a pool with musical fountains.

📎 The square is surrounded by 5 major buildings built in pink and yellow tuff in the neoclassical style with extensive use of Armenian motifs.

📎 The main clock of Yerevan is also located in the Republic Square, on the tower of the Government building, it was installed in 1941.

Avetik Isahakyan house-museum 🏠

📌The house was built by the poet’s father in 1829.

📌 In October 2002 the house museum was reconstructed and was reopened with funds of the Armenian Government and Gyumri municipality.

📌The house museum is furnished just as it looked the way when Isahakyan lived there.

You can enjoy your museum tour with the help of the museum’s local guide.❤️
