My name is SALAM and I'm a freelance Hairstylist; currently covering Dubai areas, hoping to expand to the whole UAE...
My interest in Hair Artistry has been with me for many years. I believe that hairdressing is both an art as well as a form of personal expression. It is also as much as an experiment, even a statement as it is an aid to a woman's desire to look attractive. I have watched my personal style shape over the years, and it's an interesting journey. I pick up tips and learn new lessons everyday, on what works best for both myself and other people that I do hair to. I feel that personal style is important, especially today in the 21st century. There is a lot of pressure on women to look a certain way. I feel that although in society there are obvious fashion and beauty 'rules' that we are all taught, these seem to disappear on the catwalk; which is what I love the most about hairstyling. It can be applied in so many different ways. I am always keen to know exactly what is on the catwalk, not so that I can 'clone' the look, but incorporate trends into my own work.
