Takhte Rustam is the name of one of the historical monuments of Afghanistan located in Samangan province of that country. This huge stone throne, which is about 3500 years old, is one of the most important buildings left from the Buddhist era. The circumference of Top Rostam (Tashle Rostam) is about 85 meters and there are many caves and rooms around it. Buddhists used these rooms as temples or idol houses. They kept their idols in this place and worshiped them. This bed also has holes for keeping and hiding expensive objects and trinkets of that time. The art of sculpting and sculpting was also very popular and flourished during this period. The signs of this art are clearly visible on the walls. [1] Takht Rostam and its caves, which belong to the Buddhist period.
