Good Night My Family!

Yesterday on my birthday I was in a lot of pain. I currently have 3 slip disc in my back that makes it extremely difficult to move or sleep. Yet despite of that, reading and listening to your greetings and well wishes made me smile. To know that I have a family that loves and cares about me. So a big thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! I appreciate you, love you, and pray God's blessings on you. Thank you again.

If you get an opportunity to take a tour with Ted, just do it! Our tour was a full-day introductory island tour, but it became so much more-shall we say, a taste of Antigua?

Ted fed us on local bananas, coconuts, tamarinds and the famous black pineapple.

We tasted Rasta treats and fruits plucked from a variety of roadside trees.

We visited local food markets and dined finely in English Harbor. But without a doubt, the best part of the tour was Ted himself. He is a kind, generous, and a "do good" guy! Big thank You, Ted.

Mary Hamre: Uncle Ted, as the locals call him, gave us the BEST Tours by Locals tour we have taken - and we've taken a lot! It was amazing! He honed in on what we would like to see, and I can't say enough wonderful things about him. His communication skills were excellent! He was organized. Everyone on the island seemed to know him. His driving was excellent. His car was extremely comfortable. If you are choosing a guide for Antigua, choose Uncle Ted - he was the BEST Tours by Locals guide we have ever had.

Anyone who has Ted as your guide is in for a real treat. He was very knowledgeable, personable and a fantastic man full of fun historical facts. Ted went way above his call of duty, and it was our last excursion. It was the very BEST. We were a mixture of people who needed more help than others, and he was right there giving a helping hand. We talked, laughed and learned all about his country and what it has to offer, along with all the history of Antigua. Again, if we're ever visiting, I would 100% use Ted.

If I could, I would give Ted 10 stars!! He is an excellent guide! He's an Antigua native, extremely knowledgeable, has a terrific sense of humour, is a very good driver, is willing to change the schedule quickly, and responds to personal needs. If you go to Antigua, be sure to book him!!
Ted—David and I thank you. Starting with the towel so we could dry off, you were an excellent host! We thoroughly enjoyed you, your knowledge and your island. Don't be surprised if you see us again; however, it will not be in a rowboat.

Our tour of Antigua could not have been any better! Not only was "Uncle" Ted the perfect guide he is also a photographer and took the most memorable photos of us. We literally felt like we could move to the island after we finished our day with Ted. He showed us and told us things we would not have had an opportunity to see or to know with out him as our local guide. Thank you Ted for the sights, sounds and tastes of Antigua!

Ted was absolutely delightful. He was informative polite and had great answers to all our questions. I do not think we could have gotten a better tour of Antigua. He is a keeper!

We saw a total of 6 islands.... Ted's tour was the highlight of our 11 days at sea.

Ted was a wonderful guide for our party of 4. He is VERY knowledgeable, and you can tell he loves his island! As a bonus, he is a really nice man and a pleasure to share the day with. Nice to deal with nice people. You cannot have a better tour guide.

I am a travel agent in New Jersey who toured with Ted in January 2018. My co-worker and I used his services (which was confirmed through the Antigua Tourism Board). He took us around the island, we ate local, basically soaked in all we could from him. What a great personality as well. I have recommended Ted to many of my clients.
