Locals love this residential area for having the best of both worlds - its ease of access to all the entertainment of the town centre, the seafront promenade and public beach whilst being outside of the busy, tourist areas. The bars and restaurants of the seafront promenade are a lovely, easy 8 minute downhill walk through a quiet neighbourhood. The uphill walk home takes a few more minutes, but is a gradual slope with few steps. Its location is ideal for both long and short term stays.
