It is a large karstic spring, which emerges vertically in tectonic-karstic fissures and is connected to two other springs of this type called ‘hurdhana’, with a flow of about 1500 liters per second.The spring emerges from a vertical chimney with a depth of about 22 – 28 m and a diameter of 3 – 5 m. It is also known as the Siphon of Vir.

📍The Gorge of Këlcyra,Albania.
This magnificent gorge, which lies between Këlcyra and Dragot, with a length of 13 km forms a canyon whose depth reaches 1,000 meters. On the right slope of the gorge there are the Caves of Mezhgoran and Dragot, while along the river you can admire many underground sources, among which we single out the Black Water of Këlcyra, which originates from the Vjosa River, creating a variety of colors. Of special beauty are the karst springs of the area called "Rrepet e Këlcyra" which originate from underground rivers and come to the surface at a height of about 80 m from Vjosa, creating wonderful waterfalls.

“Thirteen Arches Carrying the Weight of 300 Years”🌉
It was built in the 18th century, around 1770, by Mehmet Bushati, the local Ottoman pasha,and spans the Kir River.The building was divided in 2 phases where the first phase was only the middle arc and the arc near it and the second phase included the other 11 arches. The purpose was to connect the city of Shkodër with the city of Drisht and other cities of the northern side. It is 108 m long, 3.4 meters wide, 12.5 meters high with 13 arches, and is one of the longest examples of an Ottoman bridge in the region.

📍Pashaliman Naval Base,Albania.
The Pashaliman Naval Base is a naval base in Vlorë, Albania.
Pashaliman was the only Soviet base in the Mediterranean in the 1950s, it was the hot spot of conflict between the Russians and the Albanians in 1961 when Albania pulled out of the Warsaw Pact. Most ships currently there are out of operation. Following the collapse of the Communist regime, the base was rebuilt by Turkey, and through a bilateral agreement, the Turkish Navy has the right to use it.

On the Albanian side, old river arms have turned into marshy lakes full of wildlife, surrounded by forests of pine and deciduous trees.
