e. Our journeys accompany the guests through a transformative path: to engage in something new, to grow in another dimension, to become more socially and environmentally conscious. We chose to be responsible while traveling, respecting and bringing benefit to the communities that we visit, their cultures and the environment. We use local suppliers, stay in locally run family-owned accommodations, eat at local restaurants, and more than 90% of the food served during our trips is sourced locally. We believe that the sustainable tourism is the best chance our country has to regenerate its nature and heritage, and to undo the many years of environmental damage that were caused by the unfortunate economic and political realities of our past. At Adventure & Fun Albania, since the beginning of our activity, we have chosen to be a responsible business. We are committed to make a difference – to invest in local communities. For many years we have supported the locals of some remote villages of southeastern Albania in their efforts to turn their villages into travel destinations. We have organized trainings for the potential suppliers, financed the local guide’s qualification, developed maps and information about the main attractions and walking trails in the area. Adventure & Fun Albania has declared a climate emergency, has signed the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s Climate Action Pledge and are strongly engaged to reduce the carbon impact of our activity. We have joined the initiative of ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association) for the elimination of single use plastic, and are working hard to accomplish this goal. We inform our guests pre-trip on the plastics issue, encourage them to bring reusable bottles on their trips and provide water to refill the bottles, where it is safe to do so. We have a zero-waste policy at our office in Tirana. We organize small group as well as bespoke tours. Our journeys take you on unbeaten paths: The entire Western Balkan region and especially Albania is still to be discovered. Our trip designers try every path and trail in search of the best kept secrets and of the most authentic experiences. We live everywhere we travel: We don´t spend the entire day only on outdoor activities and make sure you take a journey into the real life of our local friends. We make sure your trip becomes an immersion into the culinary traditions of the places you visit: Albania and the Western Balkans has a lot to discover and we make even the most hidden culinary treasures, reachable. We take care of absolutely everything. Just have fun. Travelling in small groups, makes the fulfilment of your needs possible. We have a schedule for each day, but we are flexible and changes are possible on request. You don´t need to worry about your dietary restrictions: we will meet them. You can go as fast or slow as you want. Keep your own pace. Are you tired or just don´t like to participate? In most of the cases we can book another activity for you. If you want only to sit and enjoy your coffee, it´s Ok. You are not here to participate in a race. Our guides will make your journey enjoyable. They are athletes and nature lovers, are open, flexible and interesting. They have deep knowledge of the land and people. They are themselves travellers. We choose unique accommodations which offer unforgettable experiences: We chose small scale and family run accommodations. Our hosts are our friends and will reserve you extra special treatment. We choose the restaurants very carefully: Local homes which offer homemade food, exclusive traditional restaurants, structures with a special location and atmosphere, places where you will feel special.

This year, we accompany our festive wishes with a glimpse of one of the Balkans' most iconic Byzantine treasures: The Church of St. Mary’s Dormitory in Labova of the Cross.
This remarkable monument is a masterpiece of architecture, rich in decoration, and steeped in history. Until the late 1980s, the church safeguarded an extraordinary relic—a silver cross believed to contain a piece of the True Cross where Jesus Christ was crucified. This rare artifact not only inspired the village's name but also stands as a testament to its profound heritage.

Labova lies in the beautiful Lunxhëria region, a shining example of Albania's harmonious religious coexistence.

Albania is an emerging travel destination, and the outdoor tourism, in particular, is facing different issues, among which the lack of well-prepared hiking trails.
Adventure and Fun Albania has partnered with the German Development Cooperation - GIZ Albania, to clear some of the first trails in the country in accordance with the new National Standard of Hiking Trails. Through long efforts and extensive collaboration with experts, Albania has now a draft law outlining its hiking trail standards with the international norms.
Adventure and Fun Albania is actively engaged in the preparation of these trails, collaborating closely with local actors in various destinations.

HARD TRUTH: Not everyone is going to be able to travel.

Whether it’s money, family obligations, or circumstance, travel is out of reach for a large percentage of the world’s population.

In the “quit your job to travel the world” cheerleading that happens online (of which I am a part), we often forget that it’s not so easy for everyone to travel.

Travel is a privilege.

Years on the road have shown me that, for many people, a lack of travel is simply due to spending priorities.

But there are those for whom no mindset change, spending cuts, or budget tips will help — those with illness, have people to care for, face great debt, or work three jobs just to pay their rent.

No tips on any website will magically make travel a reality for those people.

I think it’s important to always remember that travel is a privilege.

Whether we quit our jobs to travel the world, spend two months in Europe, or take our kids on a short vacation to Disney World, we get to experience something most people in the world will never get a chance to do.

I think we overlook that fact too often.

That’s not to say that we didn’t work hard. I worked hard to get where I am. I’m sure you’ve worked hard too. One’s work isn’t “less” because of opportunity. But I think it’s important to remember that the circumstances around you (including those that you are born into) make it easier for your work to bear fruit than for others.

I’ve met people of all ages, incomes, abilities, and nationalities on the road.

But even they had circumstances that allowed them to travel: support from family and friends, jobs that allowed for overtime, or other skills. They weren’t barely getting by or on social assistance. They didn’t wonder if they could afford their next meal.

We who travel get to do something that others will never be able to do.

I think it’s important that we never forget or be ungrateful for the opportunity we have.

Let’s not take it for granted.

Organizimi i trajnimit bëhet sipas kurikulës dhe programeve të detajuara, të akredituara nga Ministria e Turizmit dhe Mjedisit, dhe të hartuara bazuar në praktikat më të mira ndërkombëtare.

Një program i tillë trajnimi mundësohet në sajë të bashkëpunimit me operatorin Adventure & Fun Albania, që do të mbështesë realizimin e moduleve praktike.

Ky trajnim ju mundëson jo vetëm çertifikimin, por marrjen e njohurive të plota mbi specialitetin përkatës dhe realizimin në terren të praktikave me seriozitet dhe vërtetësi, udhëhequr nga ekspertët më të mire të fushës, të çertifikuar ndërkombëtarisht dhe me përvojë të gjatë pune.

Pjesëmarrës në këtë program trajnimi mund të bëhen kandidatë të cilët:
-Kanë mbaruar me sukses arsimin profesional ose të mesëm të përgjithshëm
-Kanë mbaruar çfarëdo program tjetër studimi mbi nivelin e arsimit të mesëm

Kushte paraprake për pranimin janë:
- Kandidati duhet të dëshmojë përgatitjen e duhur fizike
- Kandidati duhet të ketë dëshmi penaliteti të pastër
- Para provimit përfundimtar të certifikimit, kandidati duhet të paraqesë dëshminë e trajnimit për ndihmën e parë të kryer pranë Kryqit të Kuq Shqiptar

ADVENTURE & FUN ALBANIA is a tour operator focused on providing quality activities & experiences in Albania and the surrounding Western Balkan countries. It was founded by a team of creative young athletes inspired from the love for the land and people and powered from the wish to share everything with our guests.
