Armenian Genocide or Mets Eghern was Ottoman Empire massacre made against Armenian people during the World War 1. As a result 1,500,000 Armenian were killed and deported from their homeland.The majority of Armenian diaspora communities around the world came into being as a direct result of the genocide.
Today, even after 100 year Turkey Government denies to recognize Armenian Genocide. But right now presidents, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations are in Armenia to commemorate 1.500.000 victims of Armenian Genocide. To Remember and Demand!

Komitas, a.k.a. Soghomon Soghomonyan (26 September 1869 – 22 October 1935), was an Armenian priest, musicologist, composer, arranger, singer, and choirmaster, who is considered the founder of Armenian national school of music.
Komitas's contribution in Armenian folk music is indescribable. It is impossible to find an Armenian who hasn't heard about Komitas and isn't familiar with his music.

Carahunge or Zorats Qarer (Armenian: Քարահունջ կամ Զորաց Քարեր) is 7,500- year - old Stone Circle in Armenia. It is located near the town of Sisian in the Syunik Province of Armenia. The phrase Zorats Karer is literally translated from Armenian as Army Stones. It is also often referred to in international tourist lore as the 'Armenian Stonehenge'

Goshavank (Armenian: Գոշավանք; meaning "Monastery of Gosh"; previously known as Nor Getik) is a 12th- or 13th-century Armenian monastery located in the village of Gosh in the Tavush Province of Armenia. Today the monastery is not a functioning religious complex, although it remains a popular tourist destination and has recently undergone some light restoration. The impressive monastery which has remained in relatively good condition also houses one of the world's finest examples of a khachkar.

Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (Հովհաննես Այվազովսկի) is one of the greatest marine painters in the world. Baptized as Hovhannes Aivazian, Aivazovsky was born into an Armenian family in the Black Sea port of Feodosia and was mostly based in his native Crimea. His painting are well known all around the world.
