Earlier this week budget airline Wizz Air announced four new direct routes to and from Yerevan coming later this year.

Starting April 30:
🇩🇪 Dortmund-Yerevan-Dortmund
🇧🇬 Sofia-Yerevan-Sofia
🇵🇱 Katowice-Yerevan-Katowice

Starting June 12:
🇨🇿 Prague-Yerevan-Prague

The new routes come on the heels of the new Venice-Yerevan-Venice route which began operating earlier this month. More direct flights mean more opportunities for the world's travelers to visit Armenia. We can't wait to see more travelers this year from new places! Photo from Wizz Air.

Thinking about traveling to Armenia and stressing about COVID-19 restrictions? Don’t.

For Armenians the pomegranate is one of the most recognizable symbols of the country. In Armenian mythology it symbolizes fertility and good fortune. It was a guardian against the evil eye.

At weddings in Western Armenia, a bride would throw a pomegranate and break it into pieces. Its scattered seeds ensured that the bride would bear children. In Van, Armenian women who wanted to have a son would eat bread made from dough mixed with pomegranate seeds.

🍷 On June 4-5, Yerevan will held “WINE DAYS” that will turn the city center to into a huge square- with concerts of famous performers, master classes and, of course, degustation of armenian wine.

For two days, shopping arcades will be open in the city center, with products of local producers and dishes from the best Yerevan restaurateurs.

For two days, wine companies will present their products, and restaurants - a special wine menu. Coupons will be on sale

The coupon is valid for two days.

The street of "Wine Days" will be Saryan Street, which will be closed for cars for two evenings.

On the first day, there will be white and rose wine tastings with special menus from the best restaurateurs of the city.

Popular Armenian jazzmen, pop musicians and DJs will perform.

The musical program includes Armenian folk songs and dances.
