KARAHUNJ VS STONEHENGE🤔

⚪ Karahunj (also called Zorats Karer) is a prehistoric site known as the Armenian Stonehenge and it is believed to be around 7500 years old. The site was only officially named Karahunj Observatory in 2004 when studies found that it was likely once an observatory.
⚪ British Stonehenge is believed to be around 4000 years old.
⚪ Both monuments are very mystical and haunting historical monuments
⚪ Both served as a calendar to keep track of the yearly movements of the sun.

Discover the rich history and architectural beauty of the Blue Mosque in Yerevan, Armenia.

Built in the 18th century, this Persian Shia mosque is a remarkable testament to the city's Iranian period. Once the largest of the eight mosques in Yerevan, it is now the sole active mosque in Armenia. After being secularized, the mosque housed the History Museum of Yerevan for over five decades before being renovated and reopened as a place of worship with the support of the Iranian government. Visitors in the past praised its magnificent design, with elaborate floral paintings adorning the ceilings. Today, the Blue Mosque serves as a cultural and religious center for the Iranian community in Armenia. Its Persian library, offering over 8,000 items, and the Iranian cultural center within the complex attract both Armenians and Iranian tourists.
