😍💵💙On August 22, 2024, the CBCS revealed designs of the new Caribbean banknotes and coins for the first time. The banknotes and coins draw inspiration from the World Under the Sea where fish swim freely, seeing no borders. This serves as a metaphor for the unity shared between the countries of Curaçao and Sint Maarten within its monetary union. The diversity of unique aquatic life serves as a reminder that, despite our distinct identities, we are connected by collaboration and shared objectives.

🇸🇽SXM TO THE WORLD!🏔️🥾

Two years ago, Desiree started a 7 summit program that included 7 mountains between 17.400ft to 22.000ft. A powerful dream.

In those 2 years, she experienced both failures and successes. Injuries, moments of self-doubt, and incredible learning experiences.

She had to push her body to limits she had only dreamed about. Training and being fit were not enough for this powerful dream.

On her journey to the last mountain in the program, after climbing to 21.247 ft high, she became seriously ill. Forcing herself to drag her body for hours in a very remote mountain area while freezing cold. Camping overnight in the cold due to darkness.

The next morning, a helicopter rescue to a hospital in Lukla, followed by another rescue helicopter to Kathmandu. The doctors found pulmonary embolism, fluid in her lungs, and very high blood pressure.

After 7 days in the hospital, the doctor told her that she was lucky to survive, which she was also grateful for.

She is determined to climb the last mountain and won't give up. In her opinion, "Life is Good!"

The excitement is growing steadily, receiving fantastic compliments from well-known musicians and music lovers from Ghana to Nigeria. Presenting the artiste simply known as MIGHTY DOW, who is ready to make a name for himself with his unique Soca/Calypso sound on the rising African soundscape. He hails from a Caribbean Island of St. Martin/St. Maarten When Mighty Dow and Righteousman, the dominant reggae artiste from Nigeria, met at a concert in Ghana sometime in October 2023, fate intervened. Righteousman extended an invitation to Dow to visit Nigeria right away. Inspired by the thriving music scenes in Ghana and Nigeria, Mighty Dow went back and recorded his song "Come on Everybody," which is his current single. The song was recorded in St. Maarten, Ghana, Nigeria, and was filmed on location in Lagos, and directed by Righteousman. Born on the lovely Caribbean Island of St. Martins, Christened Isidore York, also known as Mighty Dow, got his start as a young steel pan prodigy, entertaining guests at parties and hotels with his father's steel band, the Potts Steelers. His breakout hit "St. Martin Rhumba," a Soca/Calypso tune that topped the charts in multiple Latin American nations, helped him gain international recognition in 1986. He has created a number of songs with collaborations by well-known performers, including Beenie Man of the island Jamaica. Numerous honors have been bestowed upon him, such as in the field of humanity on his home Caribbean Island and as a Hall of Famer of the International Reggae and World Music Awards, where he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.
