Yesterday Argentina said goodbye to its football legen Diego Maradona😔. He was the symbol and face of Argentina. I couldn't imagine that so many people could cry for a legendary football player. Literally, everyone is mourning here. There was crazy crowd in front of the Casa Rosada (President's Administration) where the grave was put open to public to say goodbye. However, the crowd was so emotional that police had to use gas and water to stop them. 😲 Stay strong Argentina, legends never die🤩

Today is a big day! I woke up to a great news from my home country. Azerbaijan has liberated its cultural and historical center from Armenian occupation after 28 years! Man, I still can't believe because this conflict started when I was a kid. I rememember the pain of refugees who were forced to leave Shusha and other Azerbaijani territories by Armenia, I remember the anger and anxiety of my people, I remember fallen soldiers of our neighborhood and I remember how I was scared to loose my dad in this war in 90s. It became childhood trauma of my generation. And now I'm crying with joy and happiness that this conflict is coming to an end and Azerbaijan is liberating its territories from Armenian occupation 30 years later! 30 years of useless peaceful negotiations which ended up with war 2 monthes ago. I didn't make any post since then 'coz my mind and soul was with my people. I was anxious, full of anger and emotions all this time. I'm mad at Armenia for not solving this conflict peacfully and making so many soldiers fall. War means death of civilians, childhood traumas, loosing kids and parents... war is horrible... Thank God that this war is shorter than it was in 90s (4 years) and now our 1 mln refugees can go back to their homes. Justice always wins! We should never give up believing in our dreams! Now, I can't wait to visit Karabakh😭🇦🇿🎉 Viva Patria🇦🇿🎉🥳

P.s. I will have another great news for you in 3 days😉 2020 is gonna end spectacular🥳

I wanna shortly share with you what is going on in my home country Azerbaijan. There broke out war that made me sad and distressed these days. I hate politics and never share any political info here, but all the lies and misleading information that I've been reading recently in social media is driving me crazy. On Sunday, 27th of September Armenia attacked Azerbaijani villages in the border and there were killed innocent people, inclyding kids😭. After that, Azerbaijan attacked them as a defense. And what would you do if your neighbor smashes your door, beats you up to death, occupies your bedroom claiming that it belongs to him and lives there for 30 years? How would you feel?😠 Armenia occupied Karabakh claiming it an ancient armenian land, making 1 mln Azeris living in Karabakh refugees and settling unrecognized state there called Artsakh. Azerbaijan has been searching for peacful solution for 30 years supported by UN resolutions which recognize Karabakh as legitimate territory of Azerbaijan. And what happens? Armenia attacks us again while being an occupant, an agressor and tells everyone that Azerbaijan attacked them. What? Wait a minute, Azerbaijan never attacked an Armenian border. Right now the war is going on in the territory of Azerbaijan. For many years Armenia took the tourists to Karabakh showing around as an ancient lands of Armenia which was absolutely dangerous for tourists. Please be aware of the places you visit, make a research, check the history and always cross check the info you read in social media or any other channel. Hope this war will end soon and we will get our lands back😭. I want peace, I want this problem to be solved without killing innocent people. ✌

Let me put it here to remind me where we were 5 years ago today😭 The iconic CN Tower makes the of the day with clear blue sky when we have a rainy, gloomy day right now in Buenos Aires🙈😅. We were free then to have a roadtrip when ever and where ever we wanted, now we are stuck in the city and can't even travel to the suburb.😁 I still hope that we will travel again, probably in 2021🙈 I recently run into news how sold out the "tickets to nowhere" offering a flight just for entertainment in the airplane taking off and landing back to the same place, to enjoy the flight😂😂 It's probably targeting people like me who is missing the airplane mode, walking down the lane and just being high on the sky with jet plane motor sound (which I used to think was a horrible noise, now I miss it😁😁). Would you pay for a ticket to nowhere just to take a flight and enjoy the airplane entertainment?😂

This is one of my favorite Argentine restaurants in Buenos Aires, save the post to visit it when the quarantine is over😄. has a real Argentine vibe with all these football jerseys hanging in the air and it serves pretty good steak😉👍

Now, some bad news🙈 After LATAM quiting international flights to Argentina and shutting down its office here, yesterday and announced about leaving Argentina😵. They will stop flying to Argentina😣. This means loss of employment for many people here and of course travel problems leaving a few flight options. I feel like at the end of the day we will have to sail 😄😄. This is it for now, let's see what else 2020 brings us😒. Anybody was planning to come to Argentina this year?

Incas believed that painting windows and doors blue would prevent evil spirit entering the house. This belief is pretty similar with Turkish evil eye which is also blue or blue windows and doors of Greece. Which other evil eye protections do you know? 👀😉

One of my favorite photos of Buenos Aires BC - before corona😅 I'm waiting for November to enjoy Jacaranda blossoms and hope this quarantine will end by that time😣

These trees were brought from France by immigrants and right now it's the symbol of Buenos Aires. You can find them in Mexico, South Africa and Australia too.

Did you know that guinea pigs (cuy in Spanish) are one of the major foods in Cusco, Peru?😳 These little babies are grilled and they say it's delicious. I didn't try it, just felt really sorry for them🙈😄 I tried albahaca meat but eating guinea pig was too much for me😜. Would you try it?

I'm in a mountain mood and remembered our trip to Bariloche, Argentina 2 years ago😍. It's called Switzerland of Latin America and is popular for lakes and mountains and of course chocolate😛. We were thinking to go back there this july to enjoy some snow, but thanks for crappy quarantine we will miss the snow this winter. We haven't seen snow for 3 years and started missing it😄❄ Any fans of snowy winter here?

If you happen to be in Buenos Aires one day, you should deffinitely visit Palermo Soho. This is my favorite part of town where you can find lots of murals, epic streets for photoshooting and the best bars and pubs in town. For now all of the bars are closed and this area is like a ghost town, but hopefully when life goes back to normal these streets will be crowded again and we will enjoy sharing drinks with our friends😍 Save the post not to miss it😉

Where is next?▶ This was the question I always used to ask right after our trip. Now I'm asking "What's next?"😳 Argentina goes back to strict quarantine untill the mid-July. We all 3 have our birthdays in July and we had great plans for celebrating them somewhere else😄. Now waiting for what's gonna happen next🙆.

Any great plans for summer?😉 European countries are alreayd opening touristic destinations and soon you will travel again soon😍 Based on this situation we will not travel soon😂😂 Send me some positive vibes before I loose my mind🙈😰

Every year we used to make a layover in Istanbul and spend there couple of days. We have been there many times, and every time we discovered something new. Last year we visited Balat for the first time and I just fell in love with the colorful Jewish district. So much positive vibes that I will deffinitely visit it again when I'll be in Istanbul next time (fingers crossed✌😅). I also have a blog post about the best photography spots in Istanbul, check it out😉😎.

What is your favorite thing to do in Istanbul? Mine is to eat Turkish food, visit Bogaz, do some (ok a lot of😛) shopping and stroll around the streets remembering our first romantic visit with my husband😅 It always makes us feel nostalgia 😭

Hey there, anybody hungry? Wanna share with you must-try food and drinks in Peru so that you would be ready when you get there😉 Don't forget to save it👆⠀

1. Ceviche - it's a raw fish marinated in lime juice, seasoned with garlic, chili pepper, onion and other spices. Sometimes there can be mixed seafood ceviche which is also delicious 😋⠀

2. Alpahaca steak - it may sound wild but I like trying everything when I travel😄. Alpahaca tasted like a goat meat to me and like pork to my husband. It probably depends on your taste buds😜. But I liked it.⠀

3. Lots of seafood (mariscos) - yesss, Peru is a seafood country and there was a huge impact of Japanese cuisine in Peruvian cuisine. Try scallops, shrimps, calmares etc which I couldn't get enough of🙈⠀

4. Quinoa salad - as I'm a big fan of quinoa I felt like I'm in heaven. I tried quinoa salad, quinoa soup ans side dish with quinoa😄 All was soooo good👍⠀

5. Chicha morada lemonade - this was so strange to me as the drink is made of purple corn😳 but it was perfect for refreshment in the hot and humid Lima days😄.⠀

6. Piscu coctail - this alcohol drink is made with piscu (kinda tequila), egg whites and lemon or other tropical fruit juices. I loved with maracuya (passion fruit)👌🍸 ⠀

I was also surprised to see lots of variaties of soups which is rare in Argentina.😜 ⠀

Which one of these hace you alreadt tried?

I'm feeling super nostalgic today 'coz exactly 3 years ago we moved to Argentina and I discovered this country with so many perspectives. Before coming here I had no idea how beautiful the nature is, how fascinating the culture of local tribes is and how many places out there waiting to be discovered. We ate 464892 steaks, 4474851 empanadas and 573929 alfajores for 3 years😄 Yes, now I know about the meat cuts which didnt have any idea about before🙈 Now I speak Spanish, of which I had 0 knowledge upon arrival and had pretty hard time in communicating😄 Now, I can identify local accents of Spanish of other Latin American countries. But I hardly understand European Spanish🙈😄 If Argentina is only tango and steak for you, that's a wrong stereotype. It's more than that; you need to see gauchos, indigenous guarani tribes in Iguazu, incas lived in North East part of Argentina and tehuelches in Patagonia. I'm still discovering this country. The only places we haven't been from our bucket list are Mendoza and Usuaia. I can't wait to get there right after quarantine 🙏😍

If you plan a trip to Argentina, this is the place you should definitely add to your bucket list.😍 The Glaciers Perito Moreno is the 3rd biggest glaciars in the world and the closer you get to it the more it leaves you speechless👍. I've a blog post about our trip to El Calafate, check it out.

Happy Republic Day to my home country Azerbaijan💙❤💚🎉🎉🎉 🇦🇿. I was born and raised there and have been away from for 7 years now. Miss my country a lot and hope to see it next year🙈😄.

I took this photo last year in Old Town of Baku. It's an old mosque dating back to XII-XIII century. These narrow streets are full of history and authentic spirit😍. Can't wait to walk there again🙏

Dedicating this photo to my traveler friends who is missing the airplane window views😛😉 A small tip to get the windowsea.
