20 years in Hinterglemm 🌸🌼🌺🌲❄️⛄️🏔️🥂😍20 years ago, 2003, now in August we bought our house in Hinterglemm and the following year we relocated to the Austrian alps from Sweden and the UK with our two young children, then 3 and 1 year old. The original house was built 1956.The house was surounded by a beautiful pine tree jungle. From a city and the beach to a little village in the mountain. We started small and slowly settled in to Austrian local village life. The first five years during the winter and summer seasons, we lived in the basement renting out the two floors above us. Off seasons we moved upstairs. It got into a system moving between seasons.. when the children where in school age in 2008 we had to make a decision in which country we were going to stay, England, Sweden or Austria.We decided to stay neutral in Austria. Villa Augustine was added on and so even an apartment for us, so that we had more space and did not have to live in the basement any more. Villa Augustine was completed 2009-2010.Chalet & Villa Augustine have been very successful and popular holiday houses to rent for families and group of friends.Now 20 years later looking back reflecting on all those wonderful and very busy years with all the guests who have been visiting us winter and summer seasons. It has been amazing and we are grateful for you all. It has been 20 busy years of exciting happenings and lots of love and fun. Now we will see what the future brings.
