After a busy tourist season in Salzburg, it's time to take a break from work and change the environment. Italy is my number one destination. No matter what part of the country you're in, it's always beautiful, delicious, warm, and unique.

Last week, I spent five days in Naples. Direct flights from Salzburg cost only 100 Euros. This was my second time in Naples. Since I was flying alone, I planned to do the most sightseeing.

I visited the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, drove along the mountain serpentines, and stopped in many small towns besides Almafi and Positano.

I visited the Archaeological Museum of Naples and walked the length and breadth of Italy's third-largest city. But of course, you can't cover everything. That's why I plan to visit Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri on my next trip.

By the way, while it was freezing in Salzburg in January, it was +18 degrees in Naples. What a beauty!

I have to say that Naples is a rather gray and dirty city, with graffiti-covered buildings and a large number of homeless people. But after being there for a few days, you start noticing its positive sides. So I recommend it to everyone, especially the suburbs and the Mediterranean coast.
