On Saturday, 24 August 2024, the Salzburg Harvest Festival officially starts in Tourismusverband Raurisertal 🎉
A big festival awaits you from 11:00 a.m. with a parade by the traditional music bands of Rauris & Taxenbach and many other musicians.
In addition to traditional craft demonstrations, there will be traditional costume performances, a colourful children's programme and, of course, delicious delicacies from the Harvest Festival stalls. 🍽️

🌄 Verena and Stefanie set off and explored three stages of the Pinzga Hatscha for us - a long-distance hike through the breathtaking nature of Salzburg's Pinzgau region. 🥾🌲

This epic gravel tour starts in the centre of Mauterndorf. Past the historic Mauterndorf castle, the route follows gravel paths along the southern Taurach to Tweng. The route continues along the crystal-clear Lantschfeldbach stream. Along the 18 km route, you can enjoy the idyllic Alpine pastures to the left and right of the route. At the bike car park, you can decide whether to continue on foot to the Lantschfeldalm and take a culinary break there or return along the impressive trail.

This route takes you on a circular route from Salzburg via the spectacular Strubklamm gorge to the deep blue lakes of the Salzkammergut. The route continues along the old Postalm road into the Tennengau region, on cycle paths along the Enns and Salzach rivers and around Lake Zell to Mittersill. Passing the Leoganger Steinberge mountains and along the Tauern cycle path through the Salzburger Saalachtal valley, you finally reach the city of Salzburg again. 🥰🙌
