And off to a great tour start! Dave Holland & Chris Potter start their tour in Stuttgart at Theaterhaus with Marcus Gilmore as a substitute for the Originally planned Crosscurrents Trio Tour with Zakir Hussain, (who had to cancel his participation because of a medical situation.) We are so grateful Marcus Gilmore was able to come and play on this tour- what a great evening with amazing music!

Dear People
8 years ago, during Tr*mp’s first term, people marched chanting “We Resist”. I did a lot of reading about resistance movements, and made a record called "Songs of Resistance".

But the truth is that if Tr*mp wins this election, our margin for resistance will be very small.

THE TIME TO RESIST A FASCIST TAKEOVER of the USA is NOW, before Donald Tr*mp has gained legal access to the most powerful military and surveillance systems in the history of the world.***

But there is no way to Stop Tr*mp unless Kamala wins Pennsylvania.
And that is not going to happen unless every single one of us does all we can.

Fortunately: those of us in NYC are a 90 minute drive or train ride from PA.

If you don’t have a car, they pair you with someone who does.
I did it yesterday in Monroe County with my friends Shahzad, Marco, and Helen. It was actually fun...

Whatever the results next Tuesday, we’ll all be living with them for a long time. The situation is serious.

As the Italian resistance song Bella Ciao says,
