Carrickalinga is located only an hours drive south of Adelaide and is adjacent to Normanville and Yankalilla where there are a range of shops, hotels and supermarkets to keep you well provisioned. Carrickalinga beach is well known for its white sands and gentle surf. Facing west this beach is sheltered for the southern swells that feed the surf beaches between Goolwa and Victor Harbour making it far safer for families and those happy to laze in the sun. Another distinct advantage for this region is that the area doesn't tend to attract the day tripper crowds meaning that although well used the beaches are never crowded.
