We are looking for a qualified hairdresser OR 3rd/4th year to join our team of two at a very small retro hair parlour in Taringa, Brisbane.
Owner (and your landlord) Emily has closed books and Sarah (percentage based renting full-time) is at 60% capacity so you will recieve new referrals to the shop. There is a new Coles shopping center being opened acrross the road so there will also be potential for walk in traffic.
You will recieve business/instagram and retention coaching for free by Emily - well established (and fully booked) senior stylist (and owner at the Parlour).
If you like plants, tattoos & vintage - this space is for you!
Choose your own days/hours* - happy to offer a percentage or daily rate depending on what you prefer.
Percentage based applicants will be provided with all stock, trolley, foil & colour to work with (we use NAK & EVO - vegan & Australian). Percentage based rentals includes rent, power, water & food/bev for your clients. Perfect choice for new hairdressers branching out on their own, you only pay when you work.

🎂🌵Dolls & Sailors 1st Birthday 🌵🎂

One year later...

As my traditional Tuesday off, I'm not celebrating my small-biz first birthday at the shop. Instead I've spent the day being snack bitch to my kids and reminiscing where I was 12 months ago today.

I was nervous as hell, to say in the least!

I had the full first day jitters, on cloud nine and completely out of my depth. One year on, my beautiful business has grown and flourished, welcoming Sarah (and Maisy) into the team (and some more plants).

Cheers to us 🥂 for making it through this weird and wonderful time. And also to you! My gorgeous clients who lift me up, enjoy me babbling & continuing to support us 🤩

Hey Dolls!
I'm sure you are all now aware of the Brisbane snap lockdown.
The parlour will be closed from 5pm today and will re-open after the long weekend.
All clients will be contacted to reschedule their appointments. More information regarding what to expect on up-coming appointments (etc. mask wearing) will be announced at a later date.

So this happened.
After my long ass winded IG story the other day about closing my Saturdays, I've actually decided that I cannot keep my online bookings open!
Looking ahead, my books are jammed for about 6 weeks, which means my current clients are struggling to get in with me.
Most of y'all rebook, it's recommended (highly), but for those who don't - you're still on my books! DM, text or email me for appointments from now on as I have disabled the online booking function for the time being.
