The wait is finally over – tickets go on sale this week for Diner en Blanc - Ballarat.
Billed as the world's poshest picnic, the global phenomenon will be held at a secret Ballarat location on Saturday 1 April.
The movement started in Paris in 1988 and is now held in more than 120 cities, including New York, Vancouver, Shanghai and Sydney.
To uphold Dîner en Blanc’s long-running tradition, all guests must dress head-to-toe in white.
As part of the Wednesday 8 March ticket release, those on the waiting list will receive an invitation and unique code to secure a table for two.
