Today, I’ve been writing about my travels around India from a couple of months ago. I still look back at my photos and wonder—was I really there? The colours of this incredible country were everything I imagined and more.**

This gatehouse is just a small part of the stunning Amber Fort in Jaipur, a place I absolutely fell in love with. Perched on a hill, the fort offers breathtaking views from the top. I’ll be sharing more photos soon because, honestly, it’s beyond beautiful!

Save this post for later to add to your India Bucket List. Follow me to stay up to date with my adventures.

Ever heard the saying *"Paint the town pink?"*

It actually comes from Jaipur, India—aka the *Pink City*! About six weeks ago, I finally got to see one of its most famous spots, the **Palace of the Winds** (Hawa Mahal). Let me tell you, this place is just as dreamy as it sounds. 💕

Back in 1876, the whole city was painted pink to welcome Prince Albert (yep, Queen Victoria’s hubby), and it’s stayed that way ever since. The palace, with its pretty pink façade and intricate lattice windows, was like nothing I’ve ever seen before—total fairytale vibes! 🪄

I was only in Jaipur for a few days, but the pink hues everywhere gave the city such a unique and magical vibe. It’s one of those places that sticks with you.

✨ Happy New Year! ✨

I hope 2025 brings you happiness, health, and unforgettable moments. 🥂✨ Looking back, 2024 was easily one of my favourite yet! I explored three new countries—Singapore, Fiji, and India—and each was incredible in its own way.

This photo shows me wandering around Agra Fort, one of my absolute favourite places in India. It’s iconic with its vibrant red hues, and every surface boasts beautifully carved, intricate designs. Nothing in India is plain or dull—everything is bursting with colour and life.

India, in particular, was life-changing. It was my first solo trip abroad (definitely not my last!), and it captured my heart as I knew it would. ❤️ From the incredible people I met to witnessing two weddings—one with people I’d just met and the other with two amazing friends I’ve made for life—it was an experience I’ll treasure forever.

I’m so excited to see what adventures 2025 has in store—whether they’re for work, solo, or shared with friends and family. I’m always ready to explore! 🌍

✨ I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! ✨ Having done a decent amount of travelling this year, I wanted to spend the last few days of the year in my happy place – Narooma, just an hour’s drive south of Batemans Bay. 🐚 Its truly is one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever seen, and this trip felt extra special.

Even though I’ve visited several times before and loved it every time, I’ve never seen the water *this* blue. It looked straight out of a postcard – almost unreal, don’t you think? 💙 The stunning scenery was just the start, though. Watching the resident seals was such a treat! 🦭🦭🦭 They were playing, frolicking, jumping off rocks, and even having little “arguments” with each other. Seeing them in their natural environment is such a privilege.

Have you visited Narooma before? Let me know your favorite spots or memories in the comments! 🌊👇

The Taj-Ma-Frickin'-Hal!

Looking back at my tour of India last month with , I still have to pinch myself. Not only was I there, but I also walked through it, around it, touched it, photographed it, and cried in front of it. So many emotions in such a short space of time.

What a year 2024 has been! Over Christmas, I’m planning to sit down and put pen to paper to share all the incredible adventures I had in this beautiful country.

I can’t wait to go back.

The stunning Jama Masjid ✨ A beautiful mosque I visited right in the heart of Delhi. It's the perfect spot to escape the lively chaos of the bustling markets just outside its doors.
Bonus: It’s super close to the Red Fort, so you can easily visit both in one trip!

But seriously, how gorgeous are these arches? 😍 The symmetry is just so satisfying!

I never leave the house without a camera/phone 🤳 If I'd have left it home tonight while out walking the dog 🐕 at the beach with the fam, I would have never been able to capture this shot!

I was exploring some beautiful black and gold rock formations,.when my husband yells, "Wow! Look at that?" I turned around and was greeted to a double rainbow 🌈🌈 Apparently, that's good luck 🤞 I've had a fantastic year, so this really was the cherry on top!

Sometimes while travelling, you meet incredible people who show kindness and truly enhance your trip by connecting you with the local culture. Before joining my tour group, I spent a few days alone in New Delhi, one of India’s biggest cities. With my fair skin and white-blond hair, I stood out everywhere I went. Being in a new country, I was hassled constantly—every 30 seconds, someone was trying to sell me something or coax me into their shop. By day two, I was feeling a little overwhelmed.

Then came day three. I finally arranged some transport, met a few kind locals, and ended up having a wonderful day.

This photo was taken by a kind stranger at Humayun’s Tomb under the perfect blue skies as the sun set over this amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 1572 during the Mughal period, it houses the tomb of Emperor Humayun and is surrounded by lush gardens, intricate pathways, and ponds. It’s also said to have inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.

Swipe to see more photos of this stunning attraction, and how smoggy it was a few days later.

COUNTRY NUMBER 21! I'm currently exploring India 🇮🇳 ! It's every bit the dream destination I thought it would be, from the amazing people, crazy way of life, and the hidden little gems like this one called Agrasen Ki Baoli. This ancient stepwell in Delhi has a really awesome atmosphere that you wouldn't expect to see from out outside.

Can't wait to explore more of this fabulous city 😍

Now that we have a beautiful doggy join the family, we can get restricted to where we explore. However Barlings Beach 🏖️ in Tomakin has become our favourite spot. Plus it's not a bad place to look at either.

Last weekend, we actually saw some humpback wales showing off in the distance, jumping up and showing us some breaches. They must have known we were watching 😍

Any suggestions where we can take our doggo 🐕 in the Eurobodalla region?

🌸 Did you catch Floriade in Canberra this year? We made it over the long weekend and honestly, I think it might be the best one yet! 😍 This year's theme was "Art," and they went all out with paint buckets spilling vibrant blooms, intricate floral patterns, and creative installations like walking through a giant paint palette, complete with oversized brushes. 🎨 The view from the top of the Ferris wheel, overlooking the sea of colors, was breathtaking! 🎡🌷

It was hard to pick a favorite, but this flower with its fiery reds and sunny yellows really stood out to me. 🌺 What do you think? Have a favorite from this year?

Yesterday we had a walk with our new family doggy Dina and the in-laws who've been travelling around Australia 🦘 and returned home this week.

We checked out the new sculpture and amazing graffiti artwork at hanging rock where the theme is about su***de prevention, which says, 'You're Somebody's Someone.'

It's a beautiful piece, very bright and colourful and a lovely addition to the Sculpture Walk.

Are you coming to Batemans Bay this year? Will you be completing the Sculpture Walk?

This weekend we had such lovely weather here on the south coast, that it almost felt like summer. We decided to take advantage and head to the beach ⛱️ and it was so nice to splash in the water 💦 as we haven't done for a while.

Bring on summer! 🌞

🌴More Fiji Spam 🌴

To be fair, you can never have enough Fiji on your feeds. This photo was shot on my phone as we walked back to our room, and I thought the lighting and the way you can see the mountains framed by the lovely palm trees in the distance was the most perfect picture 📸

As soon as I saw this beautiful temple in online, while I was researching places to visit in Nadi, Fiji 🇫🇯 I just had to add it to the list. Have you ever seen such a beautifully, colourful and interesting building?

Located on the outskirts of the city, this multicoloured Hindi Temple named Sri Siva Subramanya Swami Temple, is actually the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.

Fiji 🏖️ has a large population of Hindu's that came here from India, back in the day, and built this amazing place of worship 🛕

Most people just pass through Nadi on the way to their resorts, but I definitely think it is worth at least spending the day here.

Is Fiji on your bucket 🪣 list? Have you visited before? Let me know in the comments below 👇

🌴✨ Had the best time exploring Biausevu Waterfall while on holiday last week in Fiji! I left my resort on the Coral Coast, with our guide leading the way, we trekked through streams and rivers for about 30 minutes – totally worth it! 😍

When we finally reached the waterfall, it felt like we’d stumbled into a hidden paradise. Spent about an hour there, with people jumping off rocks, swimming, and just chilling out. 🌊 I’m not one for cold water, so nothing was going to get me to jump in. Such a great day out, and one of my fave memories from this trip! If you ever get the chance, definitely check it out. 🌺
