37 Keppel Street you are only shielding yourself from a great experience. Megan Fawkner has excelled with something out of this world from what was the old Salvation Army Store. Expanding from a clothing store to Homewares and a real coffee shop with heaps of atmosphere. Don't take Dinosaurs word for it, have a visit even the little's like it .

Dennis has been of the radar the last 2 months tied up with other work. But I am back and ready to Promote and Market Bathurst. It was a shame in last nights budget meeting at council, funds weren't set aside for our Brown Tourism signs urgently required.
I was assured that funding will be available to hire consultants next year to do a report. Another year goes by without signage, it shows how important Promotion is thought of in the Council.
My first visit to Keppel street for a while it never ceases to amaze me there are always things happening. First point of call was to thank Central Commercial Printers that helped with the Billboard for Jannie Vaughan. They also donated 12,000 brochures for a letter box drop. Well done and a big thank you from the Community.

Once again the Bathurst Community has come together raising the funds for the Janine Vaughan Signboard going up in the corner of Carrington Park. Rhonda Griffin has been relentless in organizing this to happen. With a 6 meter x 2.4 Meter signboard advertising $1,000,000 Reward lets hope it brings some new leads and we and the Vaughan family can get some closure. WELL done Bathurst

Denis and friends are raising money for a 3x6 meter signboard to go on the corner of Durham and Bentinck Street. The reward is now 1 Million, this might just jog someone's memory the case can be solved and we as a community can move on. Please give if you can every little bit helps.

In todays PC we probably cant quote some of his famous lyrics from his theme song. Farewell Aunty Jack we know you'll be back ---Aunty Jack then saying" if you don't tune in next week I'll come round and rip your bloody arms off " definitely incorrect for these times and it should not be said.
But what if we think it. We all need to promote Bathurst or Aunty Rex will call round and r-- y--- b----- a--- off . see not offensive at all.

Wow ! on my walk around town the other day I was in Kings Parade when I was drawn to some signs with photos of women depicted on them. I decided to take a closer look, then I realised it was for International Women's Day. 12 Fantastic woman were chosen and what they represented was printed on the sign, what a great initiative and to be displayed with honor for everyone to see.

Not wanting to compete with all these beautiful woman I decided to keep my visit low key, so I just took a selfie in Front of Laura Cole. We are so proud of her and her accomplishments and I share being a Dinosaur with her Dad

GOLDPANNER Caravan park. You don't have to be booked into the Park, anyone can play even an old T Rex

PROMOTING Bathurst is a full time 24/7 Job. While at the Western Advocate the other day doing a story, I called into Crema on George for a coffee. Fantastic the Girls were so nice and helped me my cup. With a body designed 65 million years ago T Rex does not have the coffee holding hands that are required.

Sorry for my slow blog, but being 65 million years old I am a little slow .As for technology it frightens me and Facebook is really new to me .
I have been busy. Met with Paul Toole our local member the other day to discuss my PROMOTE Bathurst Plans. I have also delivered my brochures to The Taxis, photo of Dean Shadbolt picking them up. Ill get more more info out as I get time. To flat out delivering brochures.

Bathurst! We are starting to gather momentum Robbie Lee has asked Dennis for some Discover Bathurst Signs. People are starting to notice them and ask why?

Brochures are still going out to shops and cafes etc. and are being accepted with open arms and excitement.

Exciting News I have picked up the 20,000 brochures from Central Commercial Printers. The pictures I have taken do not do justice to the Brochure. Now the big job to get them distributed.

Dennis has received a copy of this document. All rate payers should be aware of this new proposal.
The Central Coast has lost approx. $600,000,000 Million (Through incompetence's) that is not a typo $600,000,000 An administrator has taken over to manage the problem. The big story is the Rate payers of the Central Coast will have to pay for the councils mistakes and mismanagement. That could be a 15% increase in rates till this huge debt is settled. RATEPAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COUNCILS DEBTS

Dennis went for a drive on the weekend, looking for a museum at Rockley that the council supports, but not a lot of people are aware of it. It is not open all the time but when it is, it is worth the trip.
You turn off to Rockley at Perthville Pub. DONT LOOK FOR ANY SIGNS YOU WONT FIND ANY! (Which is Typical for Bathurst).
We need a big shake up on Tourists signs if we are to compete with other towns or Cities for the Tourist $...

Hi Bathurst, Dennis has been flat out this week Promoting The City. There are more Discover Bathurst Corrflutes going up each day (Dennis could do with some help on suggestions where to put them). On Monday we will have our 20,000 yea 20,000 Brochures ready to go I will put a copy up as soon as i get the first copy. These look fantastic and will be distributed over the next week or 2.
Once again anyone wanting some of these to hand out please contact me.
Remember if we can get a few more people to stay and extra day in Bathurst economically the city will do better and we all do better

I was flat out yesterday getting our Promotional corflute signs about. The real estate agents are now contacting landlords to get permission to hang some in the Empty shops.
I delivered signs to the Gold Panner, Rydges, Goldfields. Today I am working on Service Stations as we maybe able to attract someone as they are driving through town and just filling up, its all about numbers the more people that are tempted to STOP and look at Bathurst the more chance our economy will boom. Please let me know if you can place a Sign especially as we head to the Repco Supercars.
