This is one aspect of our life journey I'm sure Mark will not miss . .

we are wishing all of our valued guests and regular clients a wonderful happy and healthy christmas and New Year.
We also wish to let you all know that as of Dec 31st 2023 the lodge will be hosting for its last ever guests.
The lodge has been sold and business names and type will change.
We really will miss all the wonderful friends we have made in the holiday lodge fraternity, I'm sure you will appreciate that there are far too many to name, from all over Australia.
If or when any of you are back in the region please feel free to pull up a stump for a beer and a chat or even go Barra fishing just by calling Lorby on his mobile.
Spare beds are available too.
We will refer all guests for accommodation to Boyne River Tourist Park in Benaraby 0749750769 .

Biggest thank for all your support and encouragement over the last 20 yrs, to keep the lodge going even in troubled times. but now its time to retire and catch up on relaxation for us.

After using Gladstone Key Cut Services several times in the past I thought I knew what I was getting. BUT, either a name change OR business sale , makes RUSWIN INTEGRATED SECURITY SERVICES The new service, and I guess the shock of getting a almost $900 bill for 5 locks being rekeyed and 2 locks installed , a total of 2 hrs on the job was just a bit much, When asked for itemised account i saw a charge of $90 attendance fee, and a $270 for labour,
$85 and $80 dollars for the new locks and 45 dollars each for rekeying . he young man was very nice and pleasant but the cost was really over the top.
Be aware of what you are being charged by this company. Comparing a previous invoice for a similar job I had done in Jan last year at another address. the cost had doubled.
