Angela has been involved in the Jewellery Industry since 1986 starting her apprenticeship at Adameitis Jewellers in Goulburn.

This is where she learnt engraving, repairs and then this led her to an Apprenticeship. Angela study at Ultimo TAFE and Enmore Design Centre, this is where she graduated in 1995 with a credit. I also study at Reid TAFE in Canberra where she completed a Certificate in Jewellery Sales. After working for Adameitis Jewellers, I decided I needed a change so applied for a job at Hoskins Jewellers in Dar

win, and started work in 1997. I was working as a Sales Assistant, rotating from Casuarina, Palmerston and Darwin. The town is a very transit place, so 2years later I found myself back in Goulburn. And I started work again for Adameitis Jewellers, this time I stayed for 2years, and then ventured to Sydney, where I started working for House of Jewellery in the Display and Packaging Department. One great thing about Sydney there is so many opportunities for jewellers; you just have to get the dream job. I did many courses when I lived near Sydney, eg. Certificate III in Retail Operations, Advanced Opals, Gemmology 1, Testing and Tagging and Senior First Aid. I worked there for 11years and 4months. I based my business on the south coast and work between here and the Blue Mountains. So between the two environments, the people are so relaxed and friendly, which is a change from Sydney. I’ve always had a strong jewellery repair background and handmade jewellery, I take great pride in my work. I have face to face contact with my clients and they have complete trust in my work. To be open and honest is very important in this industry, so the client feels special. I have 29 years of experience and knowledge in this industry.
