Austec is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team.
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components and structures according to specifications.
You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and other metals, and utilize your expertise in welding techniques to ensure the highest quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

Perform welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Fabricate and assemble metal components, structures, and frameworks using cutting, bending, and shaping equipment.

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and project managers, to coordinate work activities and ensure timely completion of projects.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment as needed.

Requirements:

Experience as a Welder/Fabricator or similar role.

Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Skilled in operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools.
Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.

Ability to accurately measure and cut materials using various tools and equipment.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
Valid welding certifications or relevant trade qualifications are preferred.

Excellent safety record and knowledge of occupational safety standards.

Austec is currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy vehicles and will also possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in heavy vehicles

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in heavy vehicles

Understand and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

Install and maintain electronic systems, including GPS, cameras, and other modern technologies

Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to meet customer expectations

Possess knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes, in order to assist with repairs and maintenance as needed

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician with a focus on heavy vehicles

Strong working knowledge of electrical systems in heavy vehicles

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics

Experience with modern vehicle technologies such as GPS and cameras

Experience with mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
