The Jomolhari Mountain Festival festival in Bhutan is held each year to celebrate the relationship between the mountain people and the snow leopard and to raise awareness for its conservation. The two-day event features leopard-themed dances and folk songs, as local communities join together in a unique cultural experience.

The festival takes place this year on 14 & 15 October along Bhutan’s historic Jhomolhari trekking route, a winding 35km route passing through some of the Kingdom’s most beautiful scenery.

Naadam is a Mongolian holiday that takes place between 11 and 13 July annually and is celebrated across the country with great fanfare. As Mongolia's largest traditional festival, Naadam is a vivid expression of nomadic culture and the ancient celebration of national independence. Known as the ‘three games of men’ it features Mongolian wrestling, horse racing and archery and is a fascinating spectacle for locals and visitors alike.
