I am a Qualified Early Childhood Educator with 24 years experience within the Industry. I believe that each child and each family is unique and i pride myself on my ability to be flexible and to provide a smooth transition for both parents, children and myself as an educator. I provide educational based learning experiences following the EYLF
( Early Years Learning Framework) for the children wit

hin my care and work closely with parents to achieve both family goals and individual learning milestones for the children to allow them to express themselves and grow in a loving and nurturing environment. I have an outgoing personality which children are naturally drawn too which makes for great days full of love, support and fun. I have worked with many families of Multiple birth, children with disabilities and have worked with mothers and fathers alike that have suffered from Post Natal depression. I personally love the great outdoors and connecting with the world through travel and once in a lifetime experiences , when abroad i like to spend some t time volunteering in Orphanages and helping and guiding disadvantaged children in following their dreams and aspirations. I like to call myself a "Nanager" because I am much more than just a nanny, I like to make the life of parents easier and less hectic by organising their days so they in return have more downtime with their families and who doesn't want that? I do everything from Homework, to preparation of all meals for the whole family, to basic housekeeping such as washing and folding, making of beds, bath times for the children and general household errands families just sometimes don't have the time for. My job is to make your life as easy as possible and to take the pressure of you, allowing you to destress, and come home relaxed and ready to have that special time with your children. I am also adding domestic housecleaning to the list of things I can service your family with in 2022 and moving forward . I hope this gives you an insight into a little about me and what I can provide for your family.

Attention parents : RSV is going around at the moment , please keep a close eye on your little cherubs for any early signs .

Signs and symptoms of respiratory syncytial virus infection most commonly appear about four to six days after exposure to the virus. In adults and older children, RSV usually causes mild cold-like signs and symptoms. These may include:

Congested or runny nose
Dry cough
Low-grade fever
Sore throat
Sneezing
Headache

In severe cases

RSV infection can spread to the lower respiratory tract, causing pneumonia or bronchiolitis — inflammation of the small airway passages entering the lungs. Signs and symptoms may include:

Fever
Severe cough
Wheezing — a high-pitched noise that's usually heard on breathing out (exhaling)
Rapid breathing or difficulty breathing — the person may prefer to sit up rather than lie down
Bluish color of the skin due to lack of oxygen (cyanosis)
Infants are most severely affected by RSV. Signs and symptoms of severe RSV infection in infants include:

Short, shallow and rapid breathing
Struggling to breathe — chest muscles and skin pull inward with each breath
Cough
Poor feeding
Unusual tiredness (lethargy)
Irritability
Most children and adults recover in one to two weeks, although some might have repeated wheezing. Severe or life-threatening infection requiring a hospital stay may occur in premature infants or in anyone who has chronic heart or lung problems.

RSV and COVID-19

Because RSV and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are both types of respiratory viruses, some symptoms of RSV and COVID-19 can be similar. In children, COVID-19 often results in mild symptoms such as fever, runny nose and cough. For adults with COVID-19, symptoms may be more severe and may include trouble breathing.

Having RSV may lower immunity and increase the risk of getting COVID-19 — for kids and adults. And these infections may occur together, which can worsen the severity of COVID-19 illness.

If you have symptoms of a respiratory illness, your doctor may recommend testing for Covid-19 🦠
