This is a Southern Cassowary 🌴 They are an endangered species, native to the northern regions of Australia. There's only around 4400 of these wonderful birds left in the wild, so every Cassowary is precious 🙏

Being able to spot one on our tour is an incredible experience! 🙌

🥳 Congratulations 🥳 to our newest River guide, Keanu!

Keanu has been a Barron River Rafting guide for over 3 years, and had recently started his Tully River training. On Monday, he passed his river assessments and yesterday ran his first commercial trip! 🤘

Our favorite time of the year to see the magical Din Din (Barron Falls) in full flow has got to be in the summer season ☀️

🚘 Got your own transport? Take the stunning drive up the Kuranda range and head to the self guided board walks in to access the viewing platforms to the falls!

🚠 No transport? You can still view the falls! Head to the Sky Rail for an epic journey over the UNESCO World Heritage Rainforest and Barron Falls via cable car!

Whether we're navigating beginner-friendly waves or taking on the challenge of Rooster-tail Rapid, it's a rush like no other. The guides ensure our safety while adding to the excitement, and amongst the pristine surrounding gorge, I find a sense of ultimate peace and adventure..
