Introducing the two most famous female Estaurine Crocodiles on the , Bruce and Scuter! We were lucky to see both of these proud mothers today right near their successful 2025 nests. The hatchlings were just 10 metres from Scuter, which is normal for the first few months of life, but then they are on their own. Look closely as there is also a hatchling on Scuter's head, but very well camouflaged! 🌴

Lots of Estaurine Crocodile hatchings on the yesterday. An amazing interaction for our group and I! Last year every nest was destroyed by the flooding after Tropical Cyclone Jasper. We counted around 30 hatchings from one nest, which is higher than normal. Only around 50% off the eggs normally hatch, and 1% make it to adulthood. 🌴
