Six years into painting I enrolled into TAFE to do the Certificate 111 Trade Course in Painting and Decorating which I attended evenings, and finished at Credit level. My goal was to always become a qualified Painter and end up running my own small Painting and Decorating business, where I would quote and carry out the work myself, guaranteeing the finished result was at the highest quality. With

30 years experience in the trade that I love, I am proud of my work and my business which carries my name, Benjamin J Thomson Painter and Decorator – but everyone calls me Ben The Painter
