Six years into painting I enrolled into TAFE to do the Certificate 111 Trade Course in Painting and Decorating which I attended evenings, and finished at Credit level. My goal was to always become a qualified Painter and end up running my own small Painting and Decorating business, where I would quote and carry out the work myself, guaranteeing the finished result was at the highest quality. With

New job over at Hurlstone Park, inner west of Sydney.
As my clients are away on a trip, they have trusted me to carry out the painting for them.

As a painter and a sole trader, that’s probably the highest recommendation I need, and that’s the trust.

So mainly, the walls on this job will be going to a lighter off-white.
Natural timber will stay as is, also the ceilings.
In a few rooms, I’m redoing the trim. ✔️

And yes, my tradie table has prime position. ❤️✔️

As a tradie/foodie, I love having tradie lunches. Even better, I had my daughter with me for three of my first six lunches for the year ❤️

Tradie lunch No. 1: Smashed avocado on sourdough, smashed as in with my work hammer 😂✔️

Tradie lunch No. 2: Chicken stir-fry, very yummy ✔️

Tradie lunch No. 3: Grilled chicken breast and sausages from at Mortdale, the best meat and my new local butcher ✔️ Served with salad and some grilled sourdough, sauces of choice ❤️

Tradie lunch No. 4: Rissoles from , super yummy. It's great to find a quality local butcher who makes some quality rissoles for those old school BBQ lunches ❤️🎉

Tradie lunch No. 5: chicken schnitzel and salad, the best frozen chicken schnitzel and the only brand we always have in the freezer. Had some salad and also some yummy sauces, and I gave the chili jam a try ✔️💯

Tradie lunch No. 6: Air-fried chicken breast skewers, a big side of salad, and some yummy smoky BBQ sauce and chili jam to take it up a level.

Tradie lunch today for my clients! 😀 The husband has been stirring me about my Tradie lunches 😂 I told him to make a reservation, so he did for him and his wife. 😀 Today’s Menu: Air-fried Tasmanian salmon with a rub of cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, turmeric, and a pinch of brown sugar, drizzled with olive oil. Air-fried for 8 minutes in the air fryer at 200 degrees. Broccolini drizzled with olive oil and cracked pepper, then thrown into the air fryer for another four minutes. Served with rice and vegetables cooked in coconut cream with green Thai curry paste.
