Our absolutely fantastic crew have just had a few well deserved days of team building, work and fun! A huge thank you for all the hard work doing fencing, firewood, plumbing and construction. The local community were very grateful for the meat that was supplied to them. Another huge THANK YOU to Tina Sutton and her son Jayden for the stunning fire pit we have installed around our camp fireplace!

An Artist as well as an Arborist 👌🏻

As we enter the beginning of the dry season in Peppimenarti, the boys have been inspired to paint new works that depict the floodplains, as they are now accessible to go out hunting.

This is cultural leader and Durrmu artist Nathan Wilson, eldest grandson of Regina Pilawuk Wilson, and his new painting ‘Nugunbi’ a place where Tyemirri People of Peppimenarti have been hunting since the beginning.

The floodplains are the perfect hunting place to collect Angani Amurri (Magpie Geese), magpie goose eggs, and freshwater turtles (as it’s just been mating season) and for collecting Miwulnginni (water lotus pods).
