Rapid Alliance

Rapid Alliance Rapid Alliance has been developed as a result of like minded business owners deciding to work together to form a strong business group that has sufficient

We are not specifically setting up to develop a business that becomes the largest within the industry. We want to be known as a business that is flexible, approachable and ‘easy to deal with'. This can be achieved by operating a well organised, coordinated business that offers a sustainable alternative to current market leaders. The Alliance comprises of Austruct Group, CADstruction Drafting, Mins

truct Drafting, Universal Drafting and Westplan Drafting. With the business owners having a combined total of over 200 years’ experience within the drafting and design field, there is a wealth of knowledge and high level of skill available. When combining all of these drafting businesses with a common goal of working together, we are confident that when packaged up, it will add real value to existing services and exceed customer expectations. With all business owners participating equally in the running of Rapid Alliance, it enables us to make decisions quickly that deal with available capacity, scheduling of works, project management and delivery. Having all key decision makers running the Alliance, greater transparency across all businesses will assist with work priorities that delivers a speed to market service. Our target clients will be within the Resources and Construction Industries. Many of which have committed to major expansions plans over the next 10 years.

Rapid Details Perth Airport Expansion.
In June 2013 Rapid Alliance was invited by Built Environs to join the team working on the Perth International Airport Expansion.
Perth Airport Pty Ltd awarded the main construction contract for the largest component of the Perth Airport redevelopment to Built Environs, part of the McConnell Dowell Group. The responsibility for the structural steel detailing has subsequently been awarded to Rapid Alliance.
The $100 million expansion of the international departures area has commenced and will give the airport the capacity to take the Airbus A380 and Virgin Australia’s A330 in 2014.
Early construction works for the new Pier commenced on site late 2012 including services relocations, the Pier footings and aircraft parking aprons. Main building works commenced in February 2013 and the project is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
The new Pier has two purposes. Firstly, it will substantially increase international departure capacity and deliver a greatly enhanced international departures experience. The international component includes:
18 new international check-in desks.
Two A380 capable aircraft gates, with two aerobridges on each gate to support quick aircraft turnarounds. The first of the A380 gates will be operating within 12 months.
Expanded international departure lounge, including three new airline lounges.
