Fantastic weekend with this crew aboard the houseboat for the weekend.
This was definitely a tantalising weekend for the taste buds. Kim wanted to spoil her mates Marg and Mick, and show off her kitchen skills. We made pumpkin and goat cheese ravioli, from scratch, pasta included. We made espresso tiramasu martinis. We did a bacon and egg cookup one morning, then pancakes the other. A spit roast pork and lamb one night, thanks to Sam.
Perfect weather for swimming, paddleboarding and fishing by day. Sitting up on the top deck under the stars at night with some good tunes and a few drinks.
Mick enjoyed a couple of bushwalks and lots of relax time. Marg enjoyed her zen chillout time so much she asked if we could just leave her on the boat. The dogs made a new best friend with couch cuddles from Marg. We won't tell her boy Ari.

We made Steak sangas at Kims place today. So GOOD! 10/10
- White sourdough larsen oval bread. Lightly toasted. Plus 2 well cooked bits for the birds
- Super amount of juicyness
- Beetroot
- Eggs (1 on each half) + one tossed on the cooktop for fun.
- Bacon on Kim's half
- spinach, tomato, cheese
- onion relish on Erin's half
- bbq sauce
- Steak scotch fillet, pounded perfectly to size of the bread. Cooked perfectly medium to medium rare, by Kim.
- Sweet potato homemade chips, good amount.
- Price. Steak $14.50. Total shopping bill $39 for one steak sanga. Expensive but only the BEST.
- Good service. A lot of waiting time though!

Perfect weather for a sunday tour today. Cherry Picking adventure for a few hours, 10kgs of cherries between 5 of us! Then tastings of some cherry drinks and cherry icecream flavours.
Followed by a winery lunch at Wild Cattle Creek Estate . We had birthday girl Carmela with us today, so we bought some candles along and made it special!

Fun and tasty day out with this crew today. 10 of us and guide doggy Fi.
Stops today included:
An old fashioned candy and chocolate store.
Brumfield Winery for tastings of wine, beer and cider.
Killik Handcrafted Rum distillery for cocktails, mocktails, gin, rum and a delicious alacarte lunch.
Final stop was an icecream shop for tastings.. so many flavours.. icecream cones or cups for everyone!
We played our smelly game on the bus and had a few winners today, I think Josh took out the title, but prizes being lollypops and Liqueur chockies, everyone was happy and on a sugar high!.

Tuesday Tantalising Yarra Valley tour with these 3 amigos
Yarrawood Estate lunch.
Yarra Valley Chocolaterie for some scones and shopping for xmas prezzies. (For others or ourselves?!)
And a visit to the nursery at Alowyn gardens.

Fun houseboating 2 night stay at eildon with these 2 peeps and guide dog Ian!
A stop at beachworth bakery on the way.
Paddleboarding and swimming in the sunshine, and then in the rain! The new Simpsons floatie donut got a good test out.
The boys went for a morning hike with the doggies.
Lizzie caught a fish!
We had good rivalries going with some games, including braille Uno and chess. And plenty of chillout time.
We spoilt ourselves with food choices... A Spit roast dinner. Muffin making and baking. Pasta making and a yummy bolognese dinner. Pancake breakky, bacon and eggs, just to list a few yummies.

Last weekend's tour. Lots of laughs at 10pin bowling. Followed by a beer garden lunch for burgers and beverages. Thanks to all who came and made it a great day! Cheers!

Breakfast crepes in Queenscliff and a wander through the shops. Wine tasting, beer for the boys, a cocktail for Carmela, and yummy pizza's for lunch. Then a stop for gelato on our way home. What a lovely weekend with fun company!
