A fun day out to connect with your HSAC community! The HSAC bus will pick you up from your nearest stop (check route) taking you and your children for a fun short drive to our club house. The day will consist of:

A little honest and raw post 🥺

I’m not one to usually open up like this on such a new account but I felt compelled to do this after a really hectic week. Behind this beautiful photo there’s been a fair few tears, moments of sadness and anger. I am so grateful for Sarah and her support since we started this endeavour not even 7 months ago. Gosh we have grown so much in such a short time!

Your eyes really open up when you’re totally immersed in a new world. Having a background running my own business in the wellness space and Jimmy’s business in the entertainment/ tourism industry. Homeschool Adventures Club has taught me a LOT, here is what I have learned these past 7 months.

1. You can and are capable to do anything you desire! ✨ But how much work are you willing to put in to make it happen? When bringing anything new into your life, there are things that will be compensated and sacrifices made.

2. There are people who will love and support you always, these are your gems in life. 🙌🏽 Cheering you on, sharing what you are creating with others, purchasing to support (if applicable). Holding space and simply being there in all the ways. ♥️

3. There are people who will not like you and may never will, for whatever reason it may be. They are not your people and your spirit shouldn’t sweat it for a second. If you know in your heart you are doing something truely wonderful for the world, carry on and see it through. You’re not here to please, you’re not here for approval. You are here to make a blimp of a difference in your world and community. 🕊️

4. Patience, manners and etiquette goes a LONG way. Everyone in the world is busy and has a lot going on. That doesn’t mean we need to compromise being kind humans. Being courteous of others time is valuable, being courteous to reply, acknowledge or communicate is detrimental to being a decent beautiful human being. I’m no angel in this department that’s for sure. But I sure strive to be better, I even make sure to reply to Facebook Marketplace messages even if I don’t go ahead buying it 😂

5. When something has a greater purpose, bigger and beyond you. It will always work out! On days when it may feel hard or challenging. I always reflect on our purpose and mission reminding me why we are putting so much work into this. It’s not for personal gain in any way, quite the opposite (we personally and as a family have made sacrifices to make space for this). But because it’s for our community, broader communities and even beyond! (we’ve had people reach out to us from Wollongong! 😲).

But we know all our hard work, hour long calls until 1am, a handful of sleepless nights and all the sacrifices both myself and Sarah have made is all totally WORTH IT! For the sake of our children and what we are creating for them. As well as our communities children’s, families and beyond. We have a vision and we know the homeschool community is changing. We are over of the lack of commitment, the flakiness and the flow on effect and example of that falling on the children, we are making a change and redefining the homeschool community for the better! We are so grateful to be able to do this and we thank everyone who has supported us from the beginning. 🧡🥹✨🕊️

JUNIOR JOURNALIST’S we are looking for you! 📸👩🏽‍💻📰

Calling all young juniors wanting to be apart of our homeschool mag, to run their very own section “Junior Journalist’. This part of our mag will be run entirely by our homeschool children. We will coordinate the fortnightly catch ups for the junior journalists team to work together, share ideas ect. Pending applications location this may be in person or online.

If you feel your child would be interested in joining in, below is a list of the different roles we need covered:

• Creative writing: Poems, short story, ect
• Kids attending local events, sharing their experience

Well well well, the time is almost here for our offical first ever homeschool mag to go out into the world for our Central Coast, Hunter and Newcastle communities. We are honoured and thrilled to bring this incredible mag to you and know it is going to bring so much value to our communities and dare I say pretty snazzy vibe to your homes too.

We are dedicated to redefining the homeschool community and simplifying parents lives. We know this mag is going to bring so much value because it’s going to not only be a beautiful keepsake/ celebration to showcase our children’s creations, achievements and celebrate them!

It is also going to be your one stop place for all things homeschool related! We will not only be showcasing all the excursions, workshops and events we are running. But EVERYBODY’S! We have always shared our desire to create community, connection and simplify parents mental load. The Homeschool Mag is another layer of our business in helping achieve this goal for our families!

Hello hello beautiful families!

We truly did switch off over the past few weeks, spending some much needed time with family, lazy days and recharging our batteries. We are so excited to say we are back and ready for action for an incredible year ahead 2025!

The offical opening date for our next intake is Monday 27th January be sure to save this date in your calendars and set your alarms so you don’t miss it!

We also have a direct waitlist which we will be notified 24 hours before anyone else on Sunday the 26th January.

The reason this was created is because we had quite a few families reach out about joining and worried they may miss out because our numbers are limited. So we offered this to give them a higher chance to join and gain access. As we have mentioned before we have filled up one bus (30 people), so the next intake is for our second bus (30 people).

Hey guys, we have made a few changes to our disco this Wednesday 🪩 Because it is a smaller scale event, we thought I’d be fun to do a Disco Park Crawl! 🕺🏻🌼 Here is the new plan for the evening below.

Parents are also not required to be present for the Disco Park Crawl so you can drop your kids off at Long Jetty and meet us at the end of the night either San Remo or back at Long Jetty. New ticket prices for our members are now:

🌼 $45 Student All Inclusive
🌼 $23 Student Disco and Pizza
🌼 $23 Parents Disco and Pizza

Here is the itinerary for the evening:

Throw back to our first ever workshop that kick started our Social Club at the start of this term. 🌼

🪨 Our Geology Rock and Crystal Dig was such a success! The kids had an absolute ball, learned something new and connected with one another. Over the weeks since we started the social club friendships have built and connections made. Which truely warms our hearts 🧡 in addition to ticking off those outcome and the kids leaning something new the social club is so much more than that. It’s a loyal, loving community growing every day. 🥹

We are so excited to have piloted the social club for term 4 and know we will most definitely continue to do it indefinitely as there’s so much value in it for our children. Check out the second slide for a funny video we did for our Facebook group in October about the club, how that feels so long ago! 🌼

Empowering Our Young Men is a fun and relaxing day for our teen boys to connect, chat and explore holistic practices for their mind, body and soul. Exclusive for teens 12+ years of age.

• 9:30AM - Bush exploration
• 10:30AM - Ice bath challenge
• 11:15AM - Bus Ride to local beach for Coastal walk

• The importance of nature to support your wellbeing. Controlling your heat, masculine energy, managing your emotions and communication.

DATE: Wednesday 11th December
LOCATION: Camp Breakaway, San Remo

End of Year Celebration Disco! 🪩 Weheww it’s that time of year where we come together to celebrate! Children of all ages welcome, especially those that may be “graduating year 6”, celebrating a milestone or simply just an excuse to get together and have a boogie 💃🏻🕺🏻

ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE ITINERARY:
🪩 4:00pm - Meeting at Long Jetty for photos (professional photographer will be on site)
🪩 5:00pm - Party bus ride (kids only) to the disco
🪩 6:00pm - BBQ dinner and disco fun

What a fun and exciting week we had! My goodness there’s a lot happening here!

🌼 Started the week with our monthly free lunch picnic at Speers Point park.

⚓️ Then we head to Sydney for our Endevour Tour and excursion .museum exploring Captain Cook’s ship, along with a submarine and museum.

🌸 We ended the week with an empowering and relaxing day for our teen girls mini day retreat, the weather really showed up for us.

Stay tuned for our posts this week as we share more about each day. We love that we are able to create these incredible experiences for our community and already seeing the beautiful connections forming. This is only the beginning! ✨💖

Join us on a weekly basis for a fun and interactive workshops/ experiences aligned with our values for holistic play and learning. For $97 per term, per child over 5 years (children under 5 are free). 🧡 FREE for all our adventure club members too, that’s $388 a year per child in savings!
