Ready for the 2025 trip around Australia and honestly you can’t hit the Ningaloo with a boat, it’s a must.

More Gibb Spam Incoming…

Galvans Gorge was an incredible hiking spot that’s perfect for the whole family: Located just 1km from the road, this short hike is a great choice for the kiddlets.

Once you reach the end of the trail, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning waterfall and a rope swing for some fun in the sun. And if you’re feeling brave, you can even take a leap from the top of the waterfall!

By far one of our favourites, simply for the short walk! At this stage we were all ‘gorged’ out 😅

📍Manning Gorge - Gibb River Road.

We got the famous burgers & chips then setup camp for the night. We planned to stay for 2 night however the rain had other ideas. We decided to wait it out and extended our stay for a total of 4 nights. It was so nice to catch up with some old mates from and reminis on our time at Kangaroo Island.

The swimming area was such a fun spot for the grubs to explore, swim & test out their bravery on the swing.

But the real experience was the start to the gorge walk, trying to get the kids and all our gear across the river.. it was a challenge but so worth the time & effort to be gifted with one of our favorite waterfalls on the Gibb 🙌
