We live in an area called Varsity Lakes, which is about 15 minutes from Coolanggatta Airport (Airasia lands there), 5 minutes from the famous Burleigh Beach, 15 mins from Surfers Paradise and about 20 mins from Seaworld. Gold Coast the best holiday ever… and get you the best deals, in terms of prices and promotions for tickets and attractions here. We have 2 accomodation types available. OPTION 1 - RUMAH LAKESIDE
This is a 3 bedroom Unit facing Lake Orr. In Australia, this kind of unit is called "townhouse". If you choose RUMAH LAKESIDE, you rent the whole unit and cook your own food. It is a very comfortable and cosy holiday home for a family or even 2 families to share. Located in one of the nicer suburbs, very near to Bond University. Unit is facing lake, you can go fishing or take beautiful walks around the lake and island. The unit itself has a small pretty garden with a small pond, complete with herbs that you might need for cooking. A charcoal barbeque is provided along with barbeque-ing tools. The unit also shares (with other units) large grounds for children to play, plus a huge resort style pool. Rooms at Rumah Lakeside :
The master bedroom has a queen bed, walk in wardrobe and an attached bathroom. Bedroom 2 & 3 have 2 single beds in each room. Bedroom 2 and 3 share a huge bathroom. The garage downstairs has been fully carpeted and transformed into a "dormitory"like bedroom for teenagers. There are 2 double decker bunk beds in there, able to sleep 4 teens. Facilities at Rumah Lakeside :
Unlimited HI speed Internet, Full and complete kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, slow-cooker, blender, rice-cooker, dishes and cutlery. Automatic Dishwasher in kitchen. Both washing machine and dryer are available to do your laundry. a Charcoal barbeque is in garden for those who want to try the Australian lifestyle. There is lovely al-fresco dining outdoors, perfect for great Queensland weather. Price at Rumah Lakeside :
Basic rate for first 6 guests :
230 per night with a minimum stay of 4 nights. Additional guests with bed - AUD 15 per person per night. Additional guests without bed - AUD 7.50 per night. Additional rates cover additional costs of electricity, heating and water for extra guests, as well as extra sheets, pillows and bedding. Extra services (prepared halal meals, transportation and more) can be arranged for you. OPTION 2 - RUMAH WINTON
This is a holiday suite, when you choose Rumah Winton, you choose to stay with us, we are your hosts. It is more of a bed and breakfast concept. You do not rent the whole house, just the Holiday Suite in the house. The suite is huge (6.3metres x 6.1 metres). Your suite opens up to the swimming pool, and beautiful gardens. Breakfast is served daily, your children can enjoy our beautiful pool, and you will love sitting and enjoying a lovely Australian breakfast outside while watching them swim. We understand you want your privacy, and we leave you to do your own thing. Rooms at Rumah Winton :
The holiday suite has a Queen bed, double bunks and tv. Extra bedding is also available for family larger than 5 people. Facilities at Rumah Winton:
HI speed internet. Your room has a microwave, fridge and kettle for making beverages. You are welcome to use the house, we even have a pool table for a game of snooker. The swimming pool is just outside your room. Each morning breakfast is served from 8-10am. Breakfast is semi-buffet - breads, spreads, cereals and milk plus seasonal fruit for you to help yourself to, and a hot breakfast platter is served (choice of australian breakfast or Malaysian breakfast) for each guest. Note : 1)the bathroom is not attached, it is just outside your room. However, there is a sink in your room. 2) At Rumah Winton, we do not offer our main kitchen for guests to cook their meals. We can help heat food or warm milk, but it is generally expected that families will have all meals out (other than breakfast); or manage with microwaveable meals in their suite. Price at Rumah Winton :
Rate at holiday suite is
AUD180 per night with minimum stay of 2 nights. Rate includes stay and breakfast for 5 people. Additional guests incur cost of AUD20 per night with extra bed (or AUD10 without bed). Extra services (prepared halal meals, transportation and more) can be arranged for you (at a much cheaper rate compared to renting cars and/or eating out)

Spend your day out doing touristy things, Seaworld, Movieworld, Dreamworld, and much much more… and if you are too tired to look for a halal dinner outside, we can prepare dinner for you. Meals are all Halal, and you can let us know if you want australian or malaysian style meals. Everything that you could possibly need, we will probably have it. you just need to ask; car seats, gps, fishing rods, body boards, beach towels, telekung, selipar jepun even... :)

Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and built in wardrobes. Room 3 has 2 single beds, a tv and built in wardrobes. Bedroom 2 and 3 share the main bathroom with separate toilet. Facilities at Rumah Lakeside : Unlimited Hi-speed Internet, 60 inch HD tv with Netflix. Full and complete kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, slow-cooker, blender, rice-cooker, dishes and cutlery. Automatic Dishwasher in kitchen. A washer/dryer machine to do your laundry. A Charcoal barbeque is in garden for those who want to try the Australian lifestyle. There is al-fresco dining outdoors, perfect for great Queensland weather. The garage downstairs has been fully carpeted and transformed into a space to put your luggage. There is also a toilet downstairs (no shower) for guests use.

Rumah Lakeside can cater comfortably to 4-6 people. With a maximum occupancy of 8 (4adults, 4 kids).

Cost for Rumah Lakeside (for the first 4 pax is from AUD150 per night (low season). Rates fluctuate depending on season of the year and school holidays. An extra AUD15 per person per night for each additional person (all ages, all seasons)

Minimum stay at Rumah Lakeside is 3 nights. During peak season, minimum stay is 5 nights. There is a cleaning charge of AUD100 per stay.

Please ask about our buffet breakfast service (halal) which we serve at our own house nearby for most parts of the year. You can opt for this daily throughout your stay or just on your arrival day.

OPTION 2 - RUMAH AURA

At Rumah Aura, you rent the whole apartment , which has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The master room sleeps 2 pax and the second room has a bunk bed and a trundle pull-out, making it suitable for 3 pax. There is a full kitchen, and washer and dryer for doing laundry. There are 2 swimming pools (shared with other units), a gym and sauna on the grounds.

Rumah Aura can cater comfortably to 2-5 people. With a maximum occupancy of 6 (5 pax plus 1 infant sharing existing bedding)

Cost for Rumah Aura (for the first 2 pax is generally AUD100 per night, but could go lower during low season. An extra AUD20 per person per night for each additional person (all ages, all seasons). As it is a new addition to our portfolio of accomodations, we have not yet come to a final decision on the rates for the different seasons.

Minimum stay at Rumah Aura is 2 nights. During peak season, minimum stay is 5 nights. There is a cleaning charge of AUD60 per stay.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen, with amenities like oven, microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, toaster, kettle and cooking basics like salt and pepper. No meals are included in this rate. You are welcome to cook you're own meals at home. Please ask about our buffet breakfast service (halal) which we serve at our own house nearby for most parts of the year. You can opt for this daily throughout your stay or just on your arrival day.

OPTION 3 - RUMAH WINTON

Rumah Winton is a large house, you rent the whole house to yourself. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, sleeping 2 in each bedroom; and a studio suite downstairs that sleeps a family of 4-5. Living and dining room, and a games room with a snooker table and a large gaming tv and Xbox. The are 4 full bathrooms in the entire house. There is a lovely pool as well and a breakfast Terrace which is lovely alfresco dining all year round. There is a washer and dryer for laundry needs. The whole house is air-conditioned.

Rumah Winton can cater comfortably to 6-12 people. With a maximum occupancy of 14 pax (12adults + 2 children) .

Cost for Rumah Winton (for the first 6 pax) is from AUD290 per night (low season). Rates fluctuate with the season of the year and duration of stay.

An extra AUD15 per person per night for each additional person (all ages, all seasons)

Minimum stay at Rumah Winton is 5 nights. There is a cleaning charge of AUD200 per stay.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen, with amenities like oven, microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, slow cooker, toaster, kettle and cooking basics like salt and pepper. No meals are included in this rate. You are welcome to cook you're own meals at home. You have your own private pool, your own pool table (billiards), a games room and wild birds visiting your garden daily.

OPTION 4 - SUITE WINTON Suite at Rumah Winton is not a whole house rental, it is a "bed and breakfast" concept. You are renting the HOLIDAY SUITE at the host's house. The suite is huge (6.3metres x 6.1 metres). Your suite opens up to the swimming pool, and beautiful gardens. Breakfast is served daily, your children can enjoy our beautiful pool, and you will love sitting and enjoying a lovely Australian breakfast outside while watching them swim. We understand you want your privacy, and we leave you to do your own thing.

The suite usually sleeps 2 pax, but can accomodate up to 5 people. Your suite has it's own entrance and one en-suited bathroom. The holiday suite has a Queen bed and a bunk bed (double sized on the bottom and single on the top) and 50 inch tv with Netflix.

Cost for Suite Winton (for the first 2 pax) is from AUD60 per night - low season. Rates fluctute depending on seasons in the year as well as duration of your stay.

Additional persons cost AUD20 per person per night, (all ages, all seasons) which includes breakfast as well. There is a cleaning charge of AUD50 per stay.

At Winton Suite, continental buffet breakfast is included in the cost (including extra people). We provide a microwave, fridge and a kettle in your room for your convenience and coffee, tea and biscuits are always available all day long at the Terrace by the pool. There is no kitchen in the Suite and therefore heavy cooking (other than the microwave) is not allowed as the suite doesn't have an exhaust or rangehood that can extract fumes. Minimum stay at Rumah Winton is 2 nights. Facilities at Rumah Winton: Unlimited Wifi. Your room has a microwave, fridge and kettle for making beverages. Airconditioning. The swimming pool is just outside your room. Each morning breakfast is served from 8-10am. Breakfast is continental buffet - breads, spreads, crackers, cheeses, cereals, muesli / granola, yoghurts and milk, coffee and teas. Note : At Rumah Winton, we do not offer our main kitchen for guests to cook their meals. We can help heat food or warm milk, but it is generally expected that families will have all meals out (other than breakfast); or manage with microwaveable meals in their suite.

DETAILS :

All accomodation have wifi, Washer and dryer facilities, TV, swimming pool, and beautiful walks and sights within walking distance.

Provided: bath towels, beach towels to take to theme parks and beaches, soap, shampoo, detergents (laundry and dishwashing).

A bond of AUD500 (AUD1000 for Rumah Winton) is payable upon booking. Bond is a security deposit paid which is refunded in full within 2 weeks of your departure subject to the house and contents returned in good condition. Bond is not part of rental payment. Full rental amount is payable one week prior to arrival.

Your hosts can meet you at Gold Coast airport (AUD60 per trip)

If we are unable to book you into our own accomodation, we have some other options staying at apartments around Gold Coast. We are happy to quote you for these, as well as car rental and theme park tickets.

Booking is made by payment of bond. Without bond payment, your enquired dates remain open on our other websites Like Airbnb and Stayz.
