Keith was elected to the position of Mayor at the November 2014 Alexandrina Council elections. Prior to this Keith served for 4 years as a local Councillor for the Goolwa Hindmarsh Island ward, and has a strong history of community involvement. Currently Chair of the Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning Association and the South Coast Surf Life Saving Development committee, among many others
. Keith is married to Tracy, has lived and worked in Goolwa for the last 28
years, has 4 daughters and is totally committed to serving our community. Keith will strive for continual improvement in council performance, along with growth and development that maintains the character and heritage of the area, whilst providing support for our vital primary production, tourism, the arts, and our environment. Keith will continue to listen to community concerns, and will work closely with ward Councillors to deliver outcomes that reflect the aspirations of all communities within our council area.
