Some of the printed fabrics from this morning pieced and quilted ready to make into a zip purse tomorrow.

Working with the printed prices created this morning to make small sketchbook covers. Left over collage material glued to card for future projects. (Hate storing little bits but loathe to throw away!) the gel medium is still a bit wet but will dry clear.

Toowomba quilters, come along to this free class in wool couching and scrap piecing. It runs over three consecutive Tuesdays, starting March 13. Even if you don’t have the special free motion couching foot, you can still create a lovely cushion just using zig zag. Optional cushion kit is $20, class size limited to 20. My new cork pin board. Did it all by myself! Note the neat power point that I had to tile around. Did it with a paper stencil, of course. Quilting skills come in handy!

I sold all my latest batch of cushions at the Toowoomba Quilt show last week. Also found that practising wool couching for many hours a day for 7 days while demonstrating resulted in better skills!

Roman blind / design wall now finished!

Today I'm making a "Roman Blind design wall". This will mean I can drop it down over the storage unit when I need a design or display area. First, a quilted black unit trimmed to the right size and bound (like a quilt.)
