Will never get bored of these 360 degree views over the countryside, with this amazing home that I custom designed with the owners. There was a great focus on the views from every room while balancing the energy efficiency of it to remove the need of heating on sunny days in winter. Another modern design being built by Mark Ross Timber Homes in Highfields. North facing house, maximising natural light and winter sun into the living areas and main bedroom with large amounts of glass. The facade has a mix of render, brickwork, stria cladding and steel PFC's to the standout entry feature. Paired with an amazing landscaping design by Jackie Amos Landscape Architect, this is sure to be the whole package being a complete oasis!

One to keep an eye on from APM Homes Pty Ltd! Black metal cladding on the roof, continuing down the walls, with Weathertex Weathergroove Natural weathered to a nice timber colour to contrast with the metal and render. Burnished concrete floors and Tassie Oak 4.6m high ceilings feature in this living room. An expansive glazing filled wall, looking towards the magnificent northern views that will never get old.

With Low-E glass, R2.5HD wall batts, R4 ceiling batts and R1.3 anticon blanket below the roof, this house won't need any heating in winter on a sunny day with bedrooms and living areas having large north facing windows. We ran solar sun studies to ensure the overhang was correct on the northern side, with full shade in summer months, while still getting the direct sun covering deep into the living area in winter creating a passive heating effect throughout the day even once the sun has gone.

This client had previously been to 2 alternate designers/architects over the past few years without success, thank you for trusting me to put together your dream home!

Another feature house that's been a long time coming! All approvals have been done and ready for Esanjay Homes to put a slab down in the New Year! This has been a project I've loved working on with the owners, who actually worked with me to do their current house over 10 years ago! The street faces North, so it was important to gain privacy by having the house sit up on an elevated house pad, windows lifted up off floor, while still allowing winter sun and an abundance of natural light into the open plan living room at the front of the house. With 4.15m high ceilings to the living room, this house will be nothing short of amazing, and definitely won't be a cold house during winter with all of the north facing glazing!

It's been a huge year with alot of interesting projects starting construction in the new year. I'd like to thank everyone for their continued patience this year.

Drysdale Platinum Homes have just got the slab down on this in Mount Rascal for a repeat client of mine (their 7th house with me). Charred cladding to the front, feature brick and render, with sharp skillion roof lines, it's striking no doubt. The entry & living room with 3.7m high raked ceilings wraps around a pool with views over the valley. Excited to see this come to life!

This labour of love may be recognised by a lot of you, and is now up for sale! With stand out features in every room, there were hundreds of plan changes that helped everything come together so seamlessly, this is such a nice house overall and it will be sad to see it go!
