G’day fishers! Does anyone know anything about the artificial reef pods being deployed in the channel? I spoke to the guys loading them on the barge at Kettering,and I am absolutely stoked to see some positive action to help our fisheries in the area

G’day fishers! Had a great day on Monday,took some keen guy’s to Bruny despite the wintery weather,the salmon love it when it’s a bit wild and the boys did an awesome job on the beach! Heaps of fish to about 1.5 kilo and heaps of fun!

Gday fishers! Had a ripper of a day on the beach with Tibby last week, she had always wanted to learn to catch fish off the beach and within a few hours she was casting and hauling salmon and yellow eyes up the beach!

G’day fishers! Had a great day on the beach last weekend with some really keen kids,they ran me flat out for the first hour,baiting and casting, then had a go at casting the big rods themselves,pulling fish after fish up the beach! Little champions! Thanks Colleen and Mal, what a ripper of a day!

G,day Fishers! Happy new fishing year! Perch (Jackass Morworg) are a great little sport fish that fight well for their weight and and are just as tasty as flathead. Wherever you find Wrass you will find Perch with the right rigs and bait. Most importantly they are a sustainable recreational fish at the moment whereas flathead are in decline. And it’s a good idea to target other species than flathead to give those puppies a rest.
