Hello everyone I am sending out some updated news around my business.
I have now left my full time job and I am moving into semi retirement and going to just focus on my business moving forward as well as hopefully having some free time to do some other things and get a lifestyle balance.
I have bought a second vehicle ( see attached photo) so I can now do smaller groups as well as larger groups if I use both vehicles.
( sorry but I won’t be doing bucks/ hens days etc as had a few issues in the past )
This also means I can be available during the week if anyone wants a trip etc.
Also my business is now on instagram but I am still learning how to use it πŸ˜…but it would be great if you could start following me and tagging the business when the opportunity arises.
It’s obviously leading into the peak tourism season but I am always keen to do trips with locals etc.
I am also looking at maybe doing some different tours for a change like a craft beer day for example.
If interested I could also put a day together including morning tea and tastings at wineries if needed.
Thanks again for following me on the social media and look forward to seeing you on a day out in the future,
Cheers,
Paul πŸ‘πŸšŒπŸ˜„

A day out touring with a group of long time friends from Victoria.
A stop to see the view at Mt Nelson Signal Station, then down through the Channel area across to Cygnet then on to sample some ciders.
After a few drinks off for lunch at Willie Smith’s and some apple pie and a pot of tea for me ( thank you ladies πŸ˜„)
A drive around the city before finishing off with a beer at the Brewery.
Very enjoyable day out and we managed to dodge the rain 😎

Easter Sunday spent on Bruny Island helping out another operator. Island very busy but beautiful as always.
Usual stops to sample some food and a couple of small walks and a drive down the dirt road to the lighthouse, the bus definitely needed a good wash. 🚌

A day out in nature today with a lovely family visiting from Singapore.
An early start to drive to MT Field National Park where we had a very peaceful walk amongst the tall trees and the waterfalls.
We then returned to the city for lunch then up the Mountain we went and managed to see the views before some clouds appeared.
A quick drive through Battery Point before dropping them off after a big day out.

Ladies day out around some vineyards on the weekend to say bon voyage to a couple of them that are travelling overseas.
Everyone had a great day out and hopefully they were not too hung over this morning and caught their flight on time.
Safe travels guys πŸ˜„βœˆοΈ

If anyone is interested in getting a group together for a trip up to Agfest let me know πŸšœπŸ˜„

Also now that tourist season has settled down for a while until Dark M**o starts I am looking at doing a few specials just for May.

I am also looking at doing a Saturday Hobart only special day for a change - pick up 10 am ( minimum pickups) visit a few bars etc, lunch somewhere then drop people back in town at 4ish to continue their Saturday night ( costs will depend on passenger numbers so more you get the better)
Good thing about the above plan is you won’t be on the bus too long and more drinking time πŸ˜„

Any questions re any of the above send me a message,
Cheers
Paul

East coast trip this weekend, rainy one day sunny the next (typical Tassie 😎)
A few wineries visited and a little bit of a side trip off the main road but the bus made it through πŸ˜€πŸšŒ.
It’s been a while since I have made a trip up there but it’s as beautiful as ever and some new wineries have opened up.
Might try to organise some trip packages up that way in the future πŸ‘πŸ·πŸ˜€

Another one of my popular Derwent valley trips on a very hot Saturday with a regular group that give my business great support.
Plenty Cider ( great venue) then a trip to the rustic Two Metre Tall brewery and lunch at Derwent estate and a nice shady spot under the trees for me to cool down , then to a pub close by for a cool beer .

A visit to my home town of Richmond then a drive up to Launceston with a stop at Ross for a walk.

Hi all , just putting it out there that I am looking for someone to assist me with the upcoming cruise ship season ( and possibly ongoing) as I unfortunately will not be available when some of the ships arrive due to doing my other job.
Maybe someone that is studying tourism or hospitality and would like some work experience or someone that has some spare time during a working week.
A few key requirements are-
An interest and some basic knowledge on Tasmania or keen to learn
Fully vaccinated
Ancillary certificate ( or apply for one )
Clean driver’s license
Good listener
People skills etc .
If anyone knows of anyone that they think would be suitable send me a private message or give me a call if needed to discuss further.
Cheers
