Passing of Warwick Blacker - St Albans Brigade

It is with sadness we advise of the recent passing of Warwick Blacker from St Albans Brigade.

Warwick joined the St Albans Brigade in 2002 and contributed both actively and operationally during his service, whilst holding numerous positions in the Brigade including Deputy Captain, Senior Deputy Captain and Vice President.

Not only did he care so fondly of the St Albans Brigade, but he shared his passion with us all through his regular involvement in the District Senior Management Team and supporting District training and events.

Warwick was not only a dedicated member of our District, but also a great friend to many and will be deeply missed.

ST ALBANS BRIDGE PERMIT
Good news for our valued concrete customers on Walmsley Rd, Settlers Rd, Wollombi Rd, St Albans Village, and Wright's Creek Rd.

We have been successful in obtaining a permit to cross the St Albans bridge with our Concrete Trucks. The permit is only valid for the next 6 months, starting 14th March 2023 until 12 Sept 2023.

If you require concrete, please book on 4566 8365. Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment so we can supply you before the permit ends.

Saturday 17th December 2022 between 9.15-9.20pm

As part of the requirements to fulfil the needs of the Registration Scheme, it is necessary for us to inform neighbours in the vicinity of the event. This is to try to ensure that people in care, children and pets / livestock, are protected from any possible harm or upset. If you have any queries regarding this event please contact me & we will do all we can to minimise the nuisance, but there is inevitably going to be some disturbance.

Looks like Wisemans Ferry Road will take a little longer than expected to repair. We have put up a notice to inform the trucks leaving the quarry of the restrictions for trucks on Sackville Ferry. This inconvenience is nothing compared to what others have to deal with. We are all in this together. Have a great day and keep singing that song we all learnt as children.......Rain, rain go away, come back on another day (well like next year please 😆)
