Our ‘inkwords’ are custom made allowing you to choose your spelling, font and size. They are perfect as special gifts for different occasions; a child’s bedroom wall or door, the bride and grooms names on the main table at the reception, the newly born, christenings and birthdays. We even create words like ‘Paris’ that can sit next to the treasured Eiffel Tower ornament you brought back from your

travels to Europe. How about extra-large single letters like ‘K’ that sit on your kitchen bench or a collage of letters and words on that blank wall to give you inspiration. The custom framing part of our business means that your documents and art work are well protected and sealed to ensure that moisture does not damage your piece. We use acid free products and have a wide range of frames and matts.
‘ezi-pics’ is our very own DIY block mounting kit. The kit comes with everything you need (except a trimming knife) to block mount a photo of your choice in less than five minutes. Each kit also contains comprehensive instructions and has the components to make two block mounts.

inkfriends finished 2015 with the framing of a signed Box Hill Hawks 2013 Premiership jumper. The finished work included a window detailing the scoreline of the match as well as the Club logo and the logo of radio sponsor WBC 94.1 FM

It's Spring, the season for blossoms and chirping birds.

Maryann, a member of the Tuesday "Giggle and Stitch" class has captured the feeling of spring with a detailed hand embroidery of two little wrens. The birds occupy a space of just 140mm x 100mm in this carefully crafted artwork. The final piece has been framed by inkfriends in a double mount and pewter/gold frame.

Well it's been a while between posts, with other commitments needing attention, but today I was pleased to be able to deliver some framed certificates acknowledging outstanding achievement for a talented teacher. Congratulations Liz!

Completion of a recent assignment for a friend. A matching pair of photo collages of "European doorways" as well as a framed view of European villas. All three pieces completed with a medium soft black frame.

A number of friends have asked about the content of our current profile picture.

It is a custom framing job that was finished in 2014. The actual work is a hand embroidered Christmas bauble measuring approximately 30cms x 40cms in size. It has been framed with a double mount (blue and silver) and finished off with a brushed chrome wooden frame. Spectacular!

We have been busy at inkfriends responding to orders placed with our New Year special. There has also been a large sign order for a school which brought a lot of positive feedback from the school community.
