🍃 Winter in the Blue Mountains 🍃

One of our travel advisors Dani from Helloworld Travel Coolangatta recently travelled to the Blue Mountains with her family and here are her recommendations:
🚗 Organise a rental car before travelling to the Blue Mountains because there are so many places to explore, and all the amazing landmarks are quite spread out. 🗺
🌄 Watch the sunset over the Three Sisters at Echo Point. The sunset is spectacular on a clear day. 🌄
🚶‍♀️Go for a walk or hike! There are so many trails depending on your fitness level. Lyrebird Dell is a scenic trail popular for families with waterfalls and caves. If you are up for a challenge hike the 19km Grand Cliff Top Walk.
🗺 Visit Katoomba and Wentworth Waterfalls. Wentworth Falls was my favourite because the National Pass trail to the Falls was incredible.
🍴Eat breakfast or lunch at Sorensen's Glasshouse and Gardens. This is a beautiful cafe surrounded by lush gardens.
🌳 Explore Scenic World and experience the World's steepest passenger train and admire the Blue Mountains from the Scenic Skyway cable car.

"Wow, what an adventure!! The MS Trollfjord is the perfect ship for exploring the Norwegian coastline – she is small enough to get right up close to the shore but big enough to have all the services and facilities you expect from a cruise ship these days. The food was nothing short of spectacular, with local specialities included on every menu – I have a new fondness for the elusive ‘cloudberry’ and I can tell you that reindeer carpaccio is actually very tasty!
The scenery in the region is jaw-droppingly beautiful and the daily shore visits give you the opportunity to experience the fascinating local culture but the true hero of this journey is the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, which graced us with nightly visits as soon as we got above the Arctic Circle. Pretty much the whole ship (passengers and crew) are on ‘lights watch’ from the moment the sun sets and as soon as any action is spotted the captain makes an announcement to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to witness the magic – even if it means leaving the table half way though dinner!
This incredible journey will tick all your boxes and the Northern Lights will not be this strong or this active for many years after 2025 so I encourage you to take this opportunity to experience them now!

Japanese cultural adventure ❤️⛩🍜

Bella and Dion recently travelled to Japan in March on a quest for snow and culture. The adventurous couple first travelled to Japan's most northern island Hokkaido where they went snowboarding in Niseko, then travelled to buzzing Tokyo before visiting Kawaguchiko Onsen which is the best place to view Mt Fuji.

Bella only had great things to say about their experience at Hotel Konansou which is a Japanese-style Ryokan with a natural Onsen. Bella said, "Where we stayed in Fuji was an experience like no other, we were treated like royalty and the dinner package was 100% worth it as each night we were treated to some incredible food and had a great view over the lake, from the roof we could see Fuji."
