walking trail was amazing on Sunday, it was so clear due to the rain last week. Hiked up the normal trail to the very top then along the Ridge to the caves, and then found some more caves. It was such an amazing walk, highly recommended it, go off the trail and explore 😀 Sandyhollow

Lake glenbawn could of been a wonderful weekend if it wasn't for all the feral.
The facilities were always left a mess, people dumping rubbish very where, at night they were going to the toilet down on the beaches (knowing kids would be playing there in the morning). Quiet time is meant to be 10pm but still partying hard at 3am, In the family area next to the play ground. It could be such a beautiful spot, they really need to patrol it better. I would recommend not going on long weekends, and getting in early to section off an area.

Had an amazing time at the
The park is getting a full on makeover and was still amazing, I can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer and the renos are completed.
Facilities were clean, it had a great camp kitchen. We caught 3 flathead metres from the park with soft plastics.
They were offering free go-karts, kayaks, paddle board, because the jumping pillow was destroyed in the floods.
The off dog area was much bigger than most, and the play ground was great for all ages.
*Highly recommended this park.

Headed to swansea
Stayed at Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park (covered in last post)
Had a day out at and it was amazing, didn't need to swim just explored the rock pools and caves.
Then after lunch we put the boat In for a few flicks at Black Ned's Bay and SwanSea Channel only a baby flat head not that we cared as it was perfect weather to be outdoors.
We will be back.

Such an amazing caravan park and little town.
We took the caravan and the boat, as there is a boat ramp just outside the park.
Weather was perfect and there was so much to see and do.

Spent the weekend at the Big4 Bays holiday park at Anna Bay. Park was great, heaps of activities to do. Boys put the boat in at Soldier's Point and caught 9 fish all up, while we had a SUP and sand castle competition.

Off to Albury, New South Wales, Australia Wodonga, Victoria and an amazing free camp with toilets and BBQs. Water was beautiful and most camp sights were grass and on the water. Great fishing and a boat ramp, we will be back.

Venturing to Gundagai, New South Wales for another free camp on the river for the night. Great grass sight right on the river again. Had a play at a great playground in town before we came out, it was another great little camp sight.

After Sofala we headed to Bathurst to have Lunch and catch up with mates at Paddy's Hotel, it had a great little play ground and a good chose of food.

Picked up our new Austrack Tanami 15B a few weeks ago and started to head south from the Hunter Valley to Sofala a free camp sight, right by the river. It was so beautiful, they find gold in the creek so we had a little pan for gold with no luck. No toilets or showers, but there were bins.

Background: Troy and I started camping when we met nearly 20 years. It started with the swag in the back of the ute, then invested in a Black Series soft floor Commando camper trailer. But as our family grew we needed something easier to set up and bigger, so we upgraded to the Jayco Eagle, which was great. We used the indoor and outdoor kitchens, installed an outdoor shower and tap had lots of solar but wasn't a fan of the canvas so after 5 years decided to invest in the brand new Tanami after about a year of looking and many camping show 😂 we ordered it.
