Who am I? What is the difference between booking your holiday online, a travel agent, and an EPIC Travel Advisor?
People think that booking direct with the airline or using the internet is cheaper? I'll let you in on a secret ... it's usually not. I see the same prices you see on Skyscanner, I just see them live - which means I'm seeing real time availability and I'm seeing every airline at once and across the whole week, so if there's a better deal to be had, I'll find it.
Hotels aren't usually cheaper online ... and online doesn't tell you everything.
People think that booking a cruise or tour direct with the company is cheaper – it’s usually not. As travel agents, we see the same sales and usually have a few extra inclusions that you don’t get when you book direct.
People think that going to a travel agency means waiting for someone to be available and the agent rushing through your booking so they can see as many people in a day as possible.
As an EPIC Travel Advisor, I don’t have daily sales targets I need to hit or a requirement to see as many people in a day as possible. I don’t have shareholders needing dividends, or shopping centre rent to pay. I have the time and flexibility to talk with you over a cup of coffee or cake and explore all the options for your holiday – ensuring both the best price and service possible.
We can meet at your place, or in your favourite café because all of my booking systems – from live airline availability to the latest sales on cruises to up to the minute hotel pricing goes where I go. And I really like cake!
Booking through a travel agent doesn’t have to be more expensive, but it gives you someone to call if something goes wrong, and allows you to relax, knowing that someone has taken care of the details so you can enjoy your holiday.
But I'd rather talk about you. Where do you want to go?
