It’s a stunning Races Day Eve in the Tambo Valley.

We’re very excited to host our annual Easter Sunday Picnic Races tomorrow. Here are some helpful tips ahead of the day:

🐴 Gates will open at 11:30am. General Admin tickets can be purchased by cash or card.
Adults $20, Kids 16 and under are Free

🐴 We have 6 full fields of races. The first race is at 1:10pm, and the last race at 4:20pm. Bookies on course

🐴 There are strictly no Dogs allowed at the racecourse. You must leave your pooch at home!

🐴 The bar staff may ask for your Proof of Age/ID to purchase alcohol from the bar.

🐴 There are no ATMs at the racecourse, but the bar and our food stalls all have eftpos options

🐴 We are providing complimentary buses to get to and from the races. Please refer to our earlier post for the bus schedule.

🐴 The Junction Hotel Swifts Creek is holding a races after party for anyone looking for kick-ons!

🐴 and finally, rest up tonight and be ready for a great family day in our beautiful High Country!

We were excited to get down to New Rush Brewhouse over the weekend and check out the newest venue in town.

The service was fantastic, the food delicious and the craft beers on tap as well as many wines to select from and boutique cordial flavours had the whole family happy.

Plenty of grass for the kids to hang out while the deck in the sun was my choice position.

Make sure you get down to New Rush Brewhouse on your next visit to Omeo, you won’t be disappointed.

Did you know Omeo has its own golf course but you wont be seeing these guys cruising around this Melbourne Cup Long weekend, instead the golf course will host the Omeo Caravan & RV Muster. Make sure you get along to enjoy all the activities such as live music, bar & food stalls, fishing competitions, putting competitions, kids entertainment, fireworks and so much more.

A very exciting event is happening in Omeo this weekend. A collaboration between and and many other helping hands have helped on this amazing mural created by local artist
The offical unveiling will be held in the
town this Saturday at 6pm.
The celebrations will include Ukrainian guest speakers and great local foods and beverages from
, the event is being held at the towns wonderful event where the mural is located. All welcome! Donations to ukrainecrisisappeal.org to help
with emergency relief and humanitarian aid are welcome.
