On Saturday, OESC and a number of volunteers set up in Eugowra to distribute Gift Packs consisting of over $1,000 worth of Gift/Eftpos Cards. It was a great day meeting the locals once again and offering a gift of support to flood victims which the Clubs Industry, our Members and the Orange community came together to achieve.
None of this would have been possible without the support and generous donations from our Clubs Industry! It is times like this where Clubs are vital... We have the capability to act as evacuation centres, manage donation hubs and most importantly bring community together!
We need to thank Rotary Club of Orange Daybreak the massive effort and manpower they brought to the day and to Jenny at Wiz WhiteNow, and the team of Directors and CEO Tere Sheehan from Cherry Street Sports Ballina and Shoalhaven Ex-Services Group for coming all the way to Eugowra to lend a hand.

2021 ClubGrants recipient, FoodCare Orange ⭐️
FoodCare Orange has 2 main objectives: to provide low-cost food and groceries to people living in and around Orange who are experiencing financial hardship and to ‘rescue’ fresh food that would otherwise go to landfills.
FoodCare is managed and operated by more than 60 volunteers, who are involved in operating the FC Supermarket, picking up food from supermarkets, driving the free transport to pick up and drop off customers who have no transport as well as a voluntary Management Committee of 8.
